Waterfront vacation rentals in South Italy

The studio is larger than the photos suggest. We had 2 large suitcases and still plenty of space. 2 chairs fit on the mini balcony and it was wonderful to watch the whole Marina Grande. A bus station is right in front. (There are 2 bus companies that work completely separately from each other in terms of timetable & tickets) The studio is well equipped, has a sophisticated lighting concept. The washing machine on the roof can also be reached via the stairs with a little fitness and agility. Marica took good care of us. We felt very comfortable.

I honestly couldn’t fault one thing about this stay. Ada truely made you feel like a part of the family and we were sad to leave! Breakfast every morning was delicious and had a beautiful outlook to the ocean. Ada is a beautiful soul and her place reflected that, everything was so well thought out, the view was magnificent and she gave us lots of great recommendations for the area. Hopefully we are able to come back!!

Great views from the balcony. Right on the water with a ton of restaurant options. Very spacious. A little difficult getting in and up the elevator but once we figured it out was very easy.

Giovanni was a fantastic host. He accommodated our needs for checkin. The view from the rooms was beautiful and even more beautiful from the outside terrace and rooftop deck it was walkable to so many great restaurants and all that we wanted to see in Palermo. He gave great recommendations and was very responsive if we had questions. The air conditioning worked great and the basket of goodies and water were such a welcome treat to get us started so that we didn’t have to get things after our long flight. Hope we will be back!

Beautiful clean place with comfortable beds. They had a nice kitchen and great views from the balcony. Perfect location for walking around.

The view is a 15/10 and Irena was a great hostess! She was very proactive and took great care of me when I got sick. She made an extra trip with linens and had plenty of suggestions on where to get additional supplies. Even before I felt up for leaving the apartment, the view was healing in and of itself! Irena was also immediately helpful (at 10:30 at night!) in getting on the phone with the internet provider to reset the WiFi after a brief power outage that affected the entire bay. She got us up and running in just a few minutes! So grateful we stayed here!

This was the perfect place for our first time in Positano. The views are breathtaking, the location is very convenient and the apartment has everything you need to be comfortable. Letizia and Grady are superb hosts. They were very helpful in preparation for our trip, Grady greeted us on arrival and arranged porters to move our bags when we checked in and out (pro tip for any first timers: don’t think twice about hiring porters, you won’t regret it). Their guidebook was full of great suggestions and made it really easy for us to plan our stay. I know we will be back to Positano someday and this will be the first place we book!

This is one of the very best properties on the island. It's right on the coast, has three terraces, is well appointed, and exceptionally large for Stromboli. Many windows keep a nice natural draft going even during the hottest days. A beautiful beach is just a few meters away. It's also close to the trailheads for a nighttime walk up the volcano.

We were two adults in Nikolina's house for seven days. The house is small but absolutely beautiful and authentic. With beautiful views of the bay. The house is not as shielded from view as we thought, because there are two houses on each side and a dock quite close to Nikolina's house and dock, and there is a path from the neighboring houses that runs right next to the outdoor shower. But if you're looking for a quiet place, this is perfect. Clean and nice. And a small outbuilding with a washing machine. When we ran out of coffee capsules for the coffee machine, Nikolina sent coffee with the ferry.

Everything was great! Location was perfect and the space was lovely. Hard to beat the private pool!

The most incredible home we have ever stayed at, it felt like a dream. Mario, was a fantastic host, the house was beautifully decorated, the view was stunning, the location was 10/10. We will never forget our stay at Casa lleana, and hope to come back again!

Francesco’s apartment was in a fantastic location in Bari, and very close to the old town and its array of great restaurants and cafes. The roof terrace is a big wow factor and we spent much of our time there with the beautiful sea view and the addition of sun loungers was a huge bonus. Francesco was very responsive on all communication with ourselves and very kindly arranged a taxi for our early morning departure to airport. The apartment was spotless and had had all we needed and we even had a bed/linen/towel change mid-week. Bari itself is located well to visit Matera and Alberbello and we loved the Italian hospitality and will certainly return to this delightful destination. Thanks again Francesco. Alison and Dave. Apparently clean and tidy, despite the outside temperatures it was not necessary to use the air conditioner as the apartment is cool. Host available to let us leave our luggage before check-in. Spotless

I enjoyed a great stay at Federico's apartment which is located right in the historic center of Cefalu, just a few steps from the beach, the cathedral, shops and restaurants! It was a great experience to stay in one of those old houses in the narrow streets of the historic center and still enjoy all the amenities of a modern, newly refurbished apartment. The place was very comfortable, clean, nicely furnished with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The bedroom is located in the back of the apartment and hence was very quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the little balcony overlooking the narrow street of historic Cefalu. Federico is an extremely nice host, very responsive and helpful! He provided great recommendations for restaurants, and for wonderful Kalura beach at the edge of Cefalu! Thank you for a truly memorable stay in Cefalu and I hope to come back sometime soon! I highly recommend this place!

We loved our stay, stunning scenery and a comfy bed. All of the hosts and staff we interacted with were very kind and hospitable. Those stairs are something to be prepared for, but the view and comfort of the place more than makes up for it.
