This had been the best rental I’ve stayed at so far! New home and very clean. I went to see the Redwoods and the coast and it was the perfect spot. 5 minutes from the coast and 15-20 minutes from the Redwoods. Was so convenient that it was next to Walmart. They provided snacks, coffees/teas/hot chocolates, games, spare toothbrushes. I would highly recommend this house!

A lofted sleeping area is framed by natural wood paneling, with a spacious bed featuring a white comforter and colorful throw pillows. A window provides natural light, contributing to the cabin's rustic charm.

This is the sustainable eco “village” experience you’ve been looking for. Exactly as described, there are delightful cabins and outbuildings to see. The tile artwork and decoration shows Dan’s pride in the place, especially after rebuilding from a devastating forest fire. Our cabin was cozy with the wood stove and wonderfully comfortable. It was also very dark inside (rainy visit), so I strongly suggest extra bright lanterns for visiting.

A scenic view of the Smith River is presented, bordered by lush greenery and rocky banks. Gentle currents can be observed flowing through clear waters, with scattered stones visible above the surface. Tall trees rise in the background, creating a serene atmosphere in the natural landscape.

A beautiful location. Truly perfectly centered and tucked away in the Redwoods. The perfect place if you’re looking to unplug! Outside of a couple cobwebs here and there (Completely normal considering it is located in the woods), this was a beautiful stay for me and my family! Highly recommend!

This was a great stay. There were so many thoughtful touches to make the stay comfortable - from everything you’d need in the kitchen, TVs in almost every room, fast WiFi, plenty of extras for a beach outing, etc. The space felt spacious for me and my husband, and would be great for groups of 3 or a small family. The bed and couches were very comfy and the everything was pristinely clean. There are a few restaurants and coffee shops just down the street & downtown is only about a 5 minute drive. You’re about 15-20 minutes south of Samuel Boardman & 35 minutes north of Jedidiah smith so the location was perfect for me. I’d definitely stay here again. The spiral staircase does require a little extra concentration, but it’s unique and fun. Only thing to note is that the bathroom is downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs so it does require a bit of up and down! The host did a great job with the space and it felt very thoughtful and comfortable.

Such an incredible property! A little tough to find with no reception, but Nena was so responsive and helpful all throughout! From the friendly dogs, horses, and fish, we had an amazing time. Next time we know to reserve a whole day just to explore the property :)

Scott was a great host. Very quick to respond. Met us at check in to go over everything. Also extended our check out time which was very appreciated. Everything about the place is amazing. Beautiful and clean inside. The way it is designed makes it feel much larger than it is. Has everything you need. The shower is amazing and the bed is super comfortable. The views are incredible and the landscaping and forest around the property are beautiful. We did not want to leave and can’t wait to go back again! Thank you Scott!
