House vacation rentals in South Bruny

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

Gorgeous spacious home for a group or family. Comfortable beds. Lots of kitchen utensils, crockery and cookware to easily make any meals in-house if wanting to. Warm floor seating throughout making it feel very cosy for houw large the space is.

Lovely large clean and tidy home a short drive from Hobart. We particularly loved the views!

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

The view was absolutely beautiful and the host was really responsive, which we really appreciated. The space itself wasn’t the most comfortable or practical, especially for the price, but we still enjoyed our stay overall.

Fantastic place to stay. pool is great. having a complimentary car is the best seats 8! perfect for my large family.

Glenn's place was perfect for our family! We had 6 and it didn't feel cramped. the outdoor spaces were amazing and enjoyable even when it was chilly and wet. Beautiful neighborhood walking distance to the beach. Loved our stay.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Braithwaite! We travelled down to Hobart, for Dark Mofo, and the house was the perfect home base to unwind and refresh after day/night trips. The place was spotless and each space was prepared with care, to ensure we had everything we needed. We made great use of the outdoor bath, which was appreciated after a day on foot.

Beautiful house with even more beautiful surroundings! Ruby and Alex were very helpful, gave clear instructions on finding the home and checking in and left a lovely information pack with great advice on activities and restaurants!! Loved our stay!

Fabulous place to stay!! Everything seemed very high end and the attention to detail here was second to none, from the linen right down to the hand picked flowers around the house. Very cosy with the reverse cycle keeping us toasty warm in the evenings. This property comes with everything you could possibly need. Bed was super comfortable and loved going to sleep listening to the sound of the ocean. Spectacular sunrise views from the balcony in the morning whilst enjoying a coffee from the coffee machine. Would highly recommend this place to anyone thinking about a stay on Bruny Island.

The house was spacious and peaceful. The wood fire was lovely. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. Beds were comfortable. They were happy for our children to stay and we brought our own inflatable mattress for them. We went to cloudy bay for a surf and the Labillardiere track at jetty beach. Both were a short enough drive. We would definitely stay again!

It was the first time in Tasmania for our family, and Robyn's mansion is definitely one of the best part of our trip. the mansion itself is located in a very peaceful area which is not very faraway from Hobart city, with an impressive scenic lakeview around the house. Robyn made sure every instructions are well-prepared for us therefore we had no problem checking-in, and she is very responsive when we needed help. In the morning after we arrived, we had a problem with the coffee machine and we reached out for help which Robyn replied and get the problem solved right away. after we went back from the town in the evening we found a new set of coffee machine and capsules for us, we were very impressive on how helpful and responsive she is toward us. to conclude our review, I would totally recommend this well-deserved home for vacation. The host is very friendly and helpful. We had a very good time here, truly a sanctuary and this place made us fall in love with Tasmania. Thank you!

Beautiful view and weekend get away, would definitely recommend and stay again.

It's been said many times before, but we found Bramley Hollow to be comfortable, peaceful and spotlessly clean. We had a restful couple of days here exploring the region. Despite the cold weather we were very cosy with the wood burner going and the house retained heat well overnight. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook.

Wow what an amazing view, sitting in the sunroom in the morning looking out across the bay having a cup of tea was so relaxing. This house is very well located to explore this gorgeous island and has every amenity you would need to stay for an extended period of time. It truly is a Bruny Island gem and I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend anyone else to stay here.

Absolutely blown away by our stay, everything was perfection. Our host Nancy’s communication was great, and the detailed, helpful information provided before and during our stay made everything so seamless. The main house tour was such a delight, setting the tone for the incredible experience. As for the location, it's truly heaven on earth. I honestly believe I will never stay anywhere prettier! The house itself is styled to absolute perfection, with insane attention to detail in every corner. But without a doubt, it was that breathtaking main view and the stunning, color-coded bookcase that truly stole the show and captured my heart. Thank you for creating such an unforgettable and beautiful escape! We can't wait to return some day!

A beautiful place to relax and enjoy the views and the sound of waves crashing in the background, the bedrooms are nice and comfortable, the lounge rooms are nice and clean, the spa is perfect place to end the day

Just fabulous. The wildlife and external space on this property make it very special. Super cosy, comfortable, well appointed accommodation and central to all things in Bruny. Beautiful beaches and we saw 3 white wallabies. Loved our few days here. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Bon Marché. It is a spacious and beautiful home with lovely gardens and great amenities for kids as well, including a cubby house and trampoline. We were travelling with a 5 year old and 8 week old and found the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house was impeccably clean and even smelled amazing. It has top end appliances and lovely bath products. The location is great, within walking distance of Burton’s reserve and the Cygnet town centre. David is a perfect host providing detailed and clear instructions. He’s friendly and responsive. Overall this was a perfect Airbnb experience and we would recommend Bon Marché for anyone looking for a luxurious and family friendly stay in the Huon. We’d love to come back sometime for a longer visit.

beautiful place with high ceilings and double height glass so you get the views from any angle. everything was clean, new, high-spec and well thought-out. we loved the fireplace, looking out over the bay from the couch amd the bath. the space exceeded our expectations.

Our stay at Sacha's place was everything we hoped. Entry was straightforward and communicated well. It felt like we were staying at a friend's place. The view was amazing, stretching across the bay, with everything changing cloud patterns. We had some cooler evenings so used the pellet heater. This was easy to operate and created a cosy ambience. There was everything you could need. We enjoyed our time

Although this little shack is on the main road of Bruny, I found it quiet and peaceful, and private as well, thanks to the garden shrubs. When we walked in, it was warm and cosy, and smelt and looked clean. Felt at home straight away. Was a great place to stay, really promoting a feeling of relaxation. We all definitely wished we were staying longer.
