We had an amazing long weekend in Kildonan. The apartment is even better than the photo's, was very clean and had everything you needed. The shower was especially good, wonderful pressure and lots of hot water. We had dinner in the bistro below the apartment and the food was delicious. There are also lovely restaurants in Whiting Bay and Brodrick. It was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend staying here.

The sleeping area features two beds, one with a decorative throw pillow and towels neatly placed at the foot. A white nightstand holds a vase of yellow tulips. Bright curtains with a chevron pattern frame the window, allowing natural light to illuminate the room.

Glorious location. Slept metres from the sea. Bedroom, bathroom and sitting room super stylish and comfortable. Cosy comfortable bed from which we could watch the waves! Art works spectacular. Shower and baths amazing! A super fresh Continental breakfast arrived each morning. Meats, cheese, fruit and yogurt along with toast and hot drinks from the kettle. I think jam and marmalade were home made. Beach and view so beautiful. We adored every moment and can’t wait to return. Huge thanks.

The property was fantastic being very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location was stunning with wonderful views and direct access to a private beach. Spotting wildlife from the house felt special, particularly the otter sighting. The extra touches in the house including a welcome pack, were much appreciated.

We had a great stay in Kildonan, absolutely lovely cottage with plenty of space. Our dog (and daughter) loved the two minute walk to the beach! The rest of us loved the sunroom which is a perfect spot to sit and soak in the view. Catherine was the perfect host, very responsive and helpful with the local recommendations. The location at Whiting Bay is outstanding and views from the main bedroom are stunning. Grant is super friendly and provided some invaluable tips. We were very happy there. Anchor's Rest was absolutely perfect for our brief stopover on our tour of Scotland. So spacious and well-equipped, we felt right at home the moment we walked through the door. We had 2 great nights' sleep, a delicious meal at the Chestnuts Hotel, a good walk up to Alloway to see Robert Burns' birthplace, a lovely run along the beach, a spot of shopping, a bit of a natter with some local folk in the Tam o'Shanter and the Smugglers pubs, and cooked some tasty locally bought pies and vegetables 'at home'. Thanks to Neil for being so helpful and friendly, a truly great stay.
