Parkers place offers a wonderful stay in the heart of Haliburton, minutes from the village. It feels like a retreat, very quiet and peaceful overlooking the trees. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well equipped. Comfortable bedrooms and a luxurious bathroom. I also really appreciated the very well-equipped kitchen. Parker was a great host, very responsive to communications and available if any questions came up. I’d highly recommend this accommodation as a great place to stay in the Haliburton area. My two brothers and I were in town for a comedy show at the playhouse. This air bnb was very clean, affordable and the location was amazing. So close to everything. The old tin shack store is right beside it with exceptional novelty items for sale. They took some of my money too lol. If I come back to Bancroft I am coming back to this spot 100%.

This place is really good for a couple who wants to spend some quality time in the woods. Deafening silence all around which makes it so special and peaceful to connect with nature :) Property was super clean and nicely maintained- Cynthia was pretty quick and precise with her responses as well. The only feedback I would give is that the mattress and pillows in the bedroom should be more comfortable and probably of better quality! Would definitely recommend this place for a couple of nights for sure :)

We loved staying there. The place was so nice and cozy. Very clean and the amenities worked great. Loved the fact that there was a washer dryer in unit so we didn’t have to go anywhere to do our laundry. You could hear a little bit the neighbours, but the back entrance and private patio made the place feel quiet. Katelyn was a great host and she even had things set up for our toddler (toys, plates). She was very responsive and she made the stay really welcoming.

The Nest was the perfect spot to stay for a March Break workshop at Haliburton School of Art & Design. Clean, welcoming and nicely appointed. The bed was super comfortable. It was quiet and the kitchen had everything I needed. Andria and Larry were great at communicating. It’s also a short walk into town. Would definitely stay there again.

My family and I stayed here and loved our stay! This place is beautiful! The design and decor of this place is well thought out and is incredibly well done. The lake view is breathtaking. The little things that they have done (for example: gift basket, stocked kitchen, game room, firewood readily available for bonfire, etc) is what make this place outstanding. The owner is friendly, communicates well and clearly, and definitely cares to make sure your stay is comfortable. My family and I loved staying here, and we definitely recommend this place for everyone else to book and enjoy!

Had a great stay during a long weekend with my girlfriend. The place was clean, the view was gorgeous, and the public access point was great for people watching. Met the owners and they were very friendly too.

Nortehaus is a great place for some private, peaceful time if you wanted to do indoor things. The sauna room was clean, the kitchen was big and well-stocked with kitchen equipment. It is ~30 minute drive to nearby provincial parks if you wanted to do some hikes.

A beautiful cottage on a pristine lake. Beautiful spacious well equipped deck overlooking a swimable sandy beach front. You can walk out into the lake in what seems to be forever enjoying a sandy bottom - no weeds, no rocks!! Comfy fire pit and bbq conveniently located near the beach. Cottage was bright, open concept with a modern kitchen, great appliances and expansive dining room table for great gatherings and game nights. Three comfy bedrooms and clean washroom. Great communication with Tania. Very responsive. Will definitely consider returning next summer. Thoroughly enjoyed our week at the cottage.

We were so happy to stay at this cottage! The house was cozy and welcoming, and both our child and our dog had an amazing time. It was the perfect place for a fun and relaxing family getaway. We would love to come back again!

We had a lovely stay at this cozy cottage right across the lake. The space was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the basic necessities. Kees was very responsive whenever we had questions, and we even got a chance to meet him while we were leaving. He is such a kind and welcoming person. The peaceful location and beautiful view made it a perfect getaway. Would definitely recommend!

This is the third year we have stayed there. We attend a big event in town, so it is nice to come back to something cozy and comfortable. We even went down to the water for a short walk this year since there was no ice or snow.
