Take a break and unwind in this peaceful village, 16 km west of Arjeplog. The cottage is surrounded by forest. On the other side of the village road is Sweden's 10th largest lake, Uddjaure. Racksund is a perfect place to start from if you are interested in outdoor activities, hiking and fishing or just want to listen to the silence. If you are interested in climbing peaks, there are many both for beginners or more experienced. Map and information are available about most of the peaks. 200 meters to boat launch

The cabin is located at 18 km long Längsjön, which houses a myriad number of fishing battles, such as trout, pike, grayling, perch, and more. Fishing licenses can be purchased 50 mt. from the cabin, and boat can be rented by contacting permanent residents. Excellent starting point for forest and field trips, mushrooms and berry picking, hunting, moose safaris etc. The cabin is located 3 miles from Storuman.

In our typically Swedish guest hut, you will find 30m2 of space in two rooms. In the sleeping area you will find two very comfortable boxspring beds, which can be used as a double bed or as single beds. In our small kitchenette, which is very comfortably equipped and the practical small oven, you could easily prepare a delicious meal. The woodburning stove radiates the charm of hut romanticism and lets you relax in comforting warmth. There are several dogs in the area!

In the area there are nice berry fields for blueberries, lingonberries and deer rounds and good opportunities for fishing. From the cottage you can connect to excellent snowmobile trails that stretch across the mountain world and down to the central resorts.

We welcome you to the Nordlicht guesthouse in the middle of the wilderness of Südlappland. She is a cozy warm traditional Swedish cabin. A cozy wood stove warms the hut. Welcome to this nice little cottage that was recently fully renovated (2021). We offer best location for ski in/out, scooter in/out, hiking in/out. Here you are right next to Hemavan Gondola that takes you further into the ski system or up to hike beautiful Kungsleden. Snowmobile trails pass on the other side of the Blue Road. It is within walking distance to ICA grocery store, system companies and restaurants, etc.

Newly built special cottage close to Uddjaur. Very good lighting conditions and with beautiful views of the water. Quiet and quiet area with nice outdoor areas. 70 m to the waterfront. Parking space is just outside the main entrance. Mosquito netting for every window. Large fishing water , fishing license is available to buy. Boat socket 150 m from the cabin 13 km from Arjeploeg Municipal Center.
