The cottage is located by Lake Överuman, 20 km north of Hemavan, with good fishing both winter and summer. Several hiking trails take you up the mountains with good fishing in the mountain streams. Hemavan's ski area is 20 km away. The mountain cabin has three bedrooms, two toilets, a washing machine and a fully-equipped kitchen. There is a stove, sauna, drying cabinet and double engine heaters.

Racksund is a perfect place to start if you are interested in outdoor life, hiking and fishing or just want to listen to the silence. In our typically Swedish guest hut, you will find 30m2 of space in two rooms. In the sleeping area you will find two very comfortable boxspring beds, which can be used as a double bed or as single beds. In our small kitchenette, which is very comfortably equipped and the practical small oven, you could easily prepare a delicious meal. The woodburning stove radiates the charm of hut romanticism and lets you relax in comforting warmth. There are several dogs in the area!

The village has a gas station, a small grocery store, bus stop, lighted ski trail, disc golf course, and gym – all within easy reach.

Here you are right next to Hemavan Gondola, which takes you further into the ski system or up to hike the beautiful Kungsleden. Snowmobile trails pass on the other side of Blå Vägen. It is within walking distance to ICA grocery store, Systembolaget and restaurants, etc.
