The former village church is located in a 1,600 square meter property in the middle of the village of Erbshausen-Sulzwiesen. Surrounded on all sides, it is an ideal retreat without being "out of this world." In the morning sun in front of the sacristy, on the church wall in the afternoon or in the evening under fruit trees. In the lower tower room on the couch, in the upper tower room – the former bell room – while watching the birds. There is always a nice place.

The 500-year-old house was completely renovated in 2021. Enjoy a relaxing evening on the sofa under an elaborately restored stucco ceiling from the Baroque period, take a look at the historical details that can be found throughout the apartment and feel completely at home in the lovingly furnished apartment. Two bedrooms with double bed and separate bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and only 2 minutes' walk from the river bank with swimming bay.

In the middle of the old town, in a quiet street, our apartment is located on the ground floor with private access. If bicycles are brought, you can be pushed into the yard through the large gate that can be opened from the inside. Please do not carry the bikes through the apartment. Parking is only possible outside the city wall ( about a 2-minute walk). However, you can drive to the shop in front of the apartment.

The hosts both Caroline and Alexander are very friendly and responsive. Communication was perfect and the check in was very easy. The pictures don’t do the place the justice. It’s so much more beautiful than on the pictures. It’s a wonderful place and very peaceful. The house itself is so well equipped. You can definitely tell that the owners spends a lot time and money to renovate it. The house was super clean. The sauna was a hit, also our children enjoyed it very much. We spend a lot of time playing in the garden and enjoyed a local bier garden. I recommend this house to anyone who values privacy and peaceful space, where you can easily relax surrounded by the forest and enjoy waking up in a exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated house. Will definitely come back.

Great very clean place. We were there with our 10-month-old baby and it was great: very large bed (2m x 2m) in which we had plenty of room for 3. In addition, we had a high chair with us that fit wonderfully at the table and generally there was also plenty of space for our crawling blanket in the living room or in the hallway. The stairs to the basement apartment were also easily accessible and we were allowed to park our stroller on the covered terrace. Also highly recommended with a baby. That's why we booked the apartment again :)

We stayed with our motorcycles for four for an overnight stay at Barbara's. Quiet but conveniently located, with a supermarket in the neighboring village. The apartment is spacious, from one bedroom the great balcony or roof terrace goes off. Definitely a recommendation.

Spacious apartment in Sommerhausen. All amenities available, very good beds and linen. Florian was quick to respond, flexible and very friendly. The village center of Sommerhausen is very quaint and charming, great for a stroll and a glass of wine in a wine bar.

Super apartment just for the price really great only there are no shops or the like nearby without a car so rather very bad to reach something, but there is a very good restaurant 1 km away which is not exactly cheap but the food was very good.
