Very nice, cozy and clean mountain loft with unique charm and great views from the beautiful terrace of Lago die mezzola and the mountains. I would have preferred to stay there😊. The kitchen is well equipped. Renata and Giancarlo are very friendly and helpful, Giancarlo drove us with his car to hike on the mountain. Super nice hiking opportunities! The Lago Como can be easily explored by ferry. At Lago di mezzola there is a beautiful beach with a great kiosk. I sincerely hope I can come back one day.

We loved Casa Meno! We wanted to stay in the north end of Lake Como as we were coming in from the Swiss side and it worked out perfectly. We dropped by Ciavenna for groceries at Lidl before checking in and arrived at the place about an hour later than I specified via the instruction email. He was already waiting for us and gave us a tour to the place. There was a welcome gift for us! Casa Meno was very clean (floor, bedding, kitchen and bathroom) and located in a very quiet area surrounded by the breathtaking mountains. We didn’t speak Italian and he didn’t speak English, so we used Google translate and it worked fine! We explored Colico, Varenna, Menaggio and Bellagio, which were in an hour by car at max. Casa Meno is in 5-10 minutes on foot from the Samolaco train station and the train comes every hour, which is very convenient to get to Varenna and take a ferry to get to Bellagio. We loved the stay at Casa Meno and highly recommend :-)

We were completely satisfied. Communication with Lory was very pleasant and friendly. In the apartment we particularly liked the beautiful bedroom and the very well equipped kitchen. Parking directly at the house, in a few minutes walk on a beautiful path on the Mera to the nearby old town of Chiavenna , in appropriate weather views of the mountains....fantastic.
