Vacation rentals with lake access in Snowy Monaro Regional Council

My family stayed at Sarah’s place over the Easter long weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Specially during the sunrise time the lake and valley looked picturesque. To quote my 4 year old nephew, “this place is amazing”. Sarah was always responded to messages with great care and provided clear instructions to check in. She is indeed a super host.

Our family had an incredible stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and packed with thoughtful amenities that made everything so easy and comfortable,. The host was super responsive and welcoming, with great local food recommendations. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I’d absolutely stay here again!

First time in a tiny house, and it did not feel tiny at all. Well spaced. Beautifully decorated and well equipped kitchen Love the addition of dog blankets and sheets for the dawg to have a spot on the couch Leah is super accommodating and friendly and quick to respond to messages. We loved our stay at Lil x Ranch at Lake Crackenback. It was a wonderful base for our adventurous holiday. We would stay again with no hesitation.

Beautiful, modern house, with great views and amenities all as listed. Robin was a friendly and responsive host, even saving the day to help us get the fire pit going. We were a group of 10; two families with high school aged kids, here for mountain biking and walks up at Thredbo and around Jindabyne. The house was a great base for us, and even with mixed weather we had a very enjoyable stay. Thanks for having us Robin.

We had a very enjoyable Easter break at Tracy’s. Great location by the lake & easy walk into town. The place is cozy with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We’d love to come back in winter.

Peter was an excellent host, communication was instant when needed. The apartment is close to shops, supermarket, cafes and walking trails (good for our dog). The kitchen was well equipped with a new induction cooktop, installed the day we arrived. Peter arrived before us and had the air conditioning on to make us comfortable from the heat. Everything in the apartment was in working order and the bed was very comfy. Excellent apartment.

It was a pleasure to stay at this studio. The apartment was absolutely pristine and in a good location, and Dawn had stocked it with lots of goodies to make it a very enjoyable stay. Dawn herself was very friendly and easy going. I've already recommended this place to my family and would do the same for any friends planning to visit the snowies.

This was a beautiful, cosy place that was ideal for our Jindabyne stay. We really appreciated the design details that gave the property a relaxed sophistication. The fireplace made the living room warm and inviting - that open plan living, dining and kitchen area are an ideal hub of the home. All the little extras (coffee bags, milk and biscuits) were a great touch and the beds super comfy. The separate bathroom for the kids was also much appreciated. And to top it off, the view of the lake was stunning and we enjoyed taking a stroll and enjoying the close connection to nature. We will absolutely be back!

Had a great stay at Raymond’s place. It was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. Our hosts were very welcoming and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place!

A wonderful stay and great view from our balcony. This place is close by to the shops, restaurants and the beautiful lake Jindabyne. Madison is a wonderful host and the place had everything that you required. We hope to return soon. :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at Osterley Cottage. It felt very homely with everything one could need! The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. Lots of room to relax on the large Lounges. Dianne and Michael were great hosts. We look forward to staying again.

beautiful accommodation both in scenery and the actual home absolutely perfect our second time Tim is a hospitable host very helpful but once your there its very private we love it!!!

The caretakers and Ken were extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. They were very accomodating to my family and my small children. Upon arrival the caretakers had the fire going to the house was very warm and inviting which was an amazing welcome. The guide provided to us upon booking was filled with clear instructions and things to do around the area and we will absolutely be back to stay when we have more of a chance to enjoy those amenities - we got to explore the property a little bit but running around organising wedding things took up majority of our time this trip. We will absolutely be back and are already planning our next trip to the OutPost!!

Clean tidy home. Great view. Close to the snowfields.

Super nice views of the lake, only 7-8 mins into the nearest town and close to Selwyn snowfields (which is why I chose to stay here). Careful driving in/out early/late at night, LOTS of animals on the roads (cool for my passengers!). Was provided a free loaf of super nice sourdough bread upon arrival (which I enjoyed!) The house was warm, and the host offered to restock the wood fire each day (it was winter) and it was lovely coming back to a super warm/toasty place. Beds were comfortable, although one of the 'rooms' is just a corner with a curtain so not super private but for a family it's fine. Host was super responsive and helpful. No wifi, which is described in the listing - but I had 0 Vodafone reception (Telstra was OK) so if this is important to you you should consider this. This did give my kids a chance to experience using a DVD player for the first time in their life! haha (great choice of movies). Would stay here again.

Great place to stay with the family for access to Selwyn Snowfields. Would also consider returning in spring for some fishing and bushwalking. Accommodation was clean, comfortable, and warm. Worth noting that the local petrol station doesn’t open until 9:00am and closes at 5 or 5:30pm, which is not great for travelling back and forth for big days skiing. Next time we’d make sure we fill up the tank at Tumut on the way in to make sure we have enough. Thanks Michael & Dianne

The house was cosy and in a great location . It was better than in thd photos snd we appreciated the thought gone into providing what a guest will need. It was the perfect cosy cabin for our family snow holiday at mt selwyn
