Hut vacation rentals in Snowdonia

It was a very wonderful holiday and the host was a very friendly and elegant person and the place was very elegant and clean and I loved the services provided there such as the wood stove and the handmade twilight and the quiet place and we loved Harry the dog All services were available and the thing I liked most about the whole vacation was that everything there was handmade. Thank you and your wonderful hospitality.

Absolutely loved our stay in this quirky little place. It was nestled in beautiful surroundings in a quiet peaceful location. What can be better than waking up from an extremely comfy bed to the sound of the river and the birds singing ! Everything you could ever need was right there in the cabin .. nothing was missing ! We spent our days visiting Aberporth, Camarthen and Cardigan with there vast array of shops and beaches. Then our nights were spent snuggled up in front of the cosy log burner listening to smooth FM on the little radio. We were here for New Year's Eve and couldn't think of a better place to be ! Would definitely recommend, you won't be disappointed !

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

We loved every minute of our stay. Just big enough for 2 adults and our dog. We loved being outside in the private garden, watching the sea with a glass of wine. The dog loved it too, it was very safe and secure. 45mins flat walk, into the town of Barmouth, via the useful instructions left by Hayley. We ate at Dylans (15mins walk, turn right on the main road) and Bay View (6mins walk turn left on the main road) would recommend both, we didn't book and got a table but I would think you'd need to book during high season. Fantastic stay and we will definitely book to come back.

A great couple of days relaxing away from it all. Beautiful location. We have 3 dogs who loved the freedom to roam about. Brilliant

Beautiful setting with the hut tub being the perfect place to look out across the Menai straight to Snowdon that we had walked earlier that day. Lambs and rabbits filled the neighbouring fields

The Cowboys hut was a beautifully made hut in an idyllic location. Danna left a lovely welcome hamper on arrival and the hut was clean and tidy. The log fire kept us toasty and we would love to visit again.

Wonderfully peaceful location. Sitting outside by the stream in the evenings with a glass of wine and listening to the birdsong was the perfect way to end some busy days at Hay Festival (which was a pleasant 25 min drive through lovely scenery on very quiet roads). Superb hosts, helpful and responsive. The hut had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Would recommend!

Me and my daughter had a lovely weekend here. The hut was perfect, with fabulous facilities. My daughter loved playing outside and seeing the horses and donkeys. It's in a great location, would definitely recommend to anyone.

had a fab stay. was set in a beutiful setting and the hut itself was stunning. sitting outside with a morning cuppa, hearing the stream go past just rounded off a perfect stay. will definitely be back and make the most of a longer stay next time thats for sure. Thanks Again. :-D

What an absolute gem of a place. Beautiful accommodation in the most peaceful surroundings. The hut was immaculate with plenty of facilities. Sitting in the hot tub with the most amazing views has been delightful. An absolute must to visit to recharge the batteries. Highly recommend this lovely hut - We will definitely return.

Myself and my girlfriend have just come back from a lovely few days at Hicks hut. We felt very relaxed due to the peaceful location of the hut. We really enjoyed the welcome from the animals too, and Jane even allowed for us to feed them on our final morning. We would definitely visit again!

Much better than expected/advertised! Hot Tub was already on, BBQ was ready to light and coal provided. Larger fridge than you’d typically expect in a hut/cabin and nice views. Cabin was private, the host lets you just crack on with it and we were more than happy with our stay.

We had a wonderful stay here for 3 nights and used it as a base to do lots of hiking in Snowdon national park. It was as described and was super clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The hot tub views were beautiful and made for such a wonderful get away. The only thing we would say, and it doesn’t mark it down at all, but that the freezer ahas ice build up so it makes it hard to really fit anything in so this just needs to be removed. Other than that, we cannot fault anything! We will certainly be back again!

Incredible stay! Walking distance from Barmouth & public pathways so was able to walk with our little one in the pram. The hut was gorgeous & every detail was thought of (even robes for after a dip in the hot tub). The host was super helpful too bringing us logs for the fire! Would definitely return 🤍

I booked this lovely shepherds hut for my husband’s birthday and it was bliss. Suzanne has been a great host, helping us settle in and she even popped round to give my husband a birthday card. The shepherds hut is a peaceful place to relax, you have the birds to admire and other farm animals to view out the window. Had a wonderful stay. The location and hut are beautiful. Laura was very welcoming and the hut has everything you need. Plenty to do just a short drive away. I would advise anyone going in the warmer months, to take a fan, if you dont like sleeping with the window open. We will definitely return.

This is my second time staying here and it was just as beautiful as the first time! Penny is the most welcoming host ever and her hospitality is top tier. Freshly picked flowers from her gardens, the most delicious Victoria sponge, and a loaf of sourdough were all part of the warm welcome. Spent three days in paradise enjoying the fire pit, BBQ, and curious wildlife. Thank you for an amazing time!

We let ourselves in through the gate as instructed and parked up, Beth came out to greet us and show us around, The hot tub was still filling so the water is definitely changed between every visit. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking pans and utensils and the views are stunning, We stayed for 1 night only but wished we stayed longer, Will definitely return for a longer stay to take in the beautiful surroundings. We had a gorgeous time relaxing and recharging at the gorgeous shepherd’s hut. The pictures don’t do justice to how secluded and peaceful the space is - we felt like we were the only people in the world! Sian and her family were an absolute delight, so friendly and welcoming as well as being flexible. They allowed us to stay all day as they had no one in the day we were leaving, and were very flexible with a lasts minute request. Very informative on the local area but also left us to enjoy it. The place is definitely an outdoor vibe and therefore don’t expect complete polished luxury, but you have everything you need it’s very cute and at one with nature. The experience more than makes up for it. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing and welcoming stay. Thank you!

Loved staying in Rosie, the shepherd's hut. Very cozy and cute!

What a gorgeous place, i miss it already. To us it was perfection...a gated safe spot for our dog and not confined so he could roam freely. The hot tub was lovely and i read a whole book in 2 days. Our entertainment was watching a dove tend to her nest, enjoying seeing our very happy dog on his first hols, playing a board game and chatting. No wifi no tv. Llangollen has enough going on too but this was a bit of paradise above a busy lovely little town.
