Artist studio, great wifi, in country village

Large beamed studio in working family village with north light, fixtures & fittings which are recycled, art and stuff from my time in galleries and museums. Comfy retreat behind my Tudor cottage. My garden is an acre with a private drive, you get the bit with less neighbours but more farm. Private space in the garden, cotton bedding. It’s shabby but well equipped. It’s cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Not for those who would be disturbed by deer, fox, chickens (rooster) and a horse.

This is a perfect peaceful retreat for those looking for a getaway amongst nature on the Suffolk Heritage Coast - a perfect base to explore nearby Snape, Aldeburgh and Southwold. Recently renovated with mezzanine living, guests have the entire Lodge to themselves with a private entrance, terraced area for outside dining/bbq and off road parking. We began the conversion work in 1995. The property sits in 5.5 acres of garden, surrounded by farmland. We are 5 miles north of the historic town of Framlingham & 16 miles from Suffolk's Heritage Coast. It's peaceful, tranquil & relaxing. Suit bird watchers, walkers, cyclists, writers, painters & anyone wanting a quiet getaway.

Located on a small family farm of 40 acres, there are plenty of dog walking opportunities on local footpaths, surrounded by horses, cattle and ducks.
