Vacation rentals in Smallburgh

What a true little gem this place. Exactly as in the photos. Our host gave us our privacy but was only a call away if we needed anything and answered promptly. The loft is very spacious and modern. It has all the necessities you would need even a dishwasher but we didn’t use this. The shower is amazing with both a normal and rainfall attachments. It has a smart TV which you can log in to watch Netflix or Prime and has Freeview channels also. We were left some lovely welcome bits by Nick, malted loaf, gorgeous biscuits, eggs, milk and some preserves which was a lovely surpise. The bed was I think a king rather than a double with nice bedding and plump pillows. The loft is in a central location so most common places to visit are no more than a short drive away. Wroxham is 5 miles down the road with lovely places to eat/drink on the waterside to watch the boats go by. Lovely of an evening. Only grumble was Cottages, the agents, took a 4 days to get back to me on my initial enquiry.

I was staying for work purposes so was looking for off road parking, private and peaceful if possible. Every item crossed off, Zoe gave detailed instructions to find her place and off road parking, surroundings were so lovely so if you like nature then this place is for you, no road noise etc which as I am from the Midlands was lovely to get away from lol. Description matched reality, warm enough for me, even though I was only staying for 2 nights Zoe left me a small bottle of milk and some biscuits as well as plenty of tea and coffee. Which I have stayed at other AirBnB's for the same or even longer and had nothing. I hope I can stay again when I am back working in the area and I definitely recommend Zoe's place if you like peace and quiet :)

This house was fantastic, spacious, clean, tidy and relaxing. The communication from Michelle was really professional and they have done a brilliant job with this property. The hard work has really paid off. The information, directions and instructions were so thorough, clear and helpful. We all enjoyed staying here and would entirely recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Mac's cottage. Exactly what we needed, so peaceful and a lovely setting with the patio overlooking the lake. Everything we needed in the cottage, beds really comfortable. Check in so easy. Didn't need to contact Mac during our stay, but he had been very quick to answer our queries when booking which made the process so easy. Would not hesitate to book to stay there again if back in the area. Thank you

Well another 5 Star stay at Pheasant Cottage! It's the 4th time we have stayed here and we love it. Marta is always ready to answer any questions you have so do ask her, She is very quick to reply. We used Pheasant cottage as a base to explore Norfolk more widely this year we managed to see Sutton Hoo it was on the bucket list. We also visited Cromer, Reedham( book an afternoon tea at the Post Office tea room find on FB) Sheringham and Horsey Wind Pump(NT). Pheasant Cottage is a home from home and beautifully relaxing after a busy day. Always plenty of hot water for a super shower and the bed is soooo comfy! If you find the Peacocks a little noisy check out the bedside drawers- ear plugs provided a great thoughtful addition to your stay. We're use to them now so they don't bother us.Plenty of boat trips at Wroxham and don't forget to visit Roy's store too . We had a lovely 2 nights in the Annex. It was cosy, clean and smelt amazing (I would recommend buying a reed diffuser from Gemma!). Gemma was quick to respond to any queries and recommended a lot of local places to visit and places to eat. We visited Bacton beach which was stunning and not too crowded and before that we had a delicious breakfast at Watson’s cafe as recommended by Gemma. We wished we had longer and hope to return one day. Thank you Gemma and Matt!

Lovely place to stay with its own private and peaceful garden corner and seating. Situated on the Broads, good base to visit Norwich as well as having beautiful walks and surroundings. We loved the easy access to many places of interest nearby - Hoveton gardens and cafe' are 10 minutes away and are absolutely gorgeous. We also enjoyed the rising sun in Coltishall which is right by the river and offers good food too. For quieter evenings indoors the TV has outstanding sound, excellent collection of films and it feels like being at the cinema! The accomodation is tastefully done and very pleasing. Terence and Annette are excellent hosts, we highly recommend it. Not forgetting Barton Turf Church with the medieval angels 😇

Robin was the friendliest most wonderful host that we have had the privilege of meeting since using Air B&B. The host was so welcoming and made us feel so at home even making us a special cake 😀 this was also my parents first experience using this app so they were blown away. Robin and Rob’s home is absolutely beautiful (even more so than the photos). The location is stunning with lots of lovely walking and running routes.
