At 920 meters above sea level, you will have a fantastic view of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings, and very good sun conditions from morning to evening. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming, and cross-country skiing, as well as mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage of Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk Skisenter is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

Experience real farm culture in an original halling house with charm. Here you can grind coffee beans in an old grinder and cook on a wood stove if you like. Refrigerator, freezer, and new bathroom are the latest additions. Hallingstugu is located on a farm in active operation with cows, sheep and garden hens. In the outdoor area there is plenty of room to ski and sled. Popular attractions nearby can be mentioned nesfjellet alpine, golf, nystølkroken cafe, langedrag nature park and endless cross-country ski trails. Everything within a few km by car.

Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. Ski slopes and great hiking terrain all year round right outside the door. 45 minutes to alpine skiing at Norefjell and 25 minutes to Haglebu. The cabin has fantastic views from most rooms.
