Doors for individual rooms lock, instructions of rules are on the fridge. Sometimes the first door's (before the one with the keypad) doorknob would fall off. If you pull the knob, the door opens. I only had one time where i struggled to get in, and that was because i pushed the knob in on accident. It took me ~5 minutes to get in. Other then that, everything was good.

Jan and Gus were amazing hosts! Their communication was proactive and responsive. They were wonderfully kind enough to give my friend and I a tour of the main living area so we could experience more of the straw bale structure. They spent time answering our questions, as we both want to build straw bale homes. They gave very specific instructions on how to get to the room and everything was exactly as described. The home is within walking distance of excellent restaurants, a gas station and a grocery store is coming soon. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. And the room was extremely reasonably priced. I couldn't have asked for more!

Very clean quiet place. The owner has it decorated very cute! Loved the great location within walking distance to some great restaurants and pubs! Highly recommend The South Side, The Treehouse and Grumpy's for breakfast is an absolute must! Very short commute to downtown. Would stay here again! Highly recommend!
