Here the noise level is quiet, it smells of forest and the air is clean. If you're looking for a place to unwind, you've found the right place. The house is built of wood from the same forest as the house stands in and the insulation is shavings from the floors and walls. For us, it's organic and local important to take care of.

It offers a simple but cozy summer accommodation with room for an optimal 4 people, but it can accommodate more. Includes: fitted kitchen, toilet, shower and sauna cabin, washing machine, 1 double bed for 2 persons, 1 bunk bed for 2 persons/child and a cosy garden with outdoor furniture and barbecue. Access to private bathing area with jetty, open fireplace and boat.

Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!

Tranquil, renovated cottage in Småland

If you’re looking for peace and quiet and disconnecting for a while, our little cottage is the place to be. Our little oasis is located in the middle of the forest, at the end of the road – here nobody will disturb you. The house itself originates back to the 17th century, had a major renovation in the 70’s, and recently had a total makeover of the upper floor. I’m the fourth generation that recently took over and use it as a summer house, and from 2024 on renting it out when we’re not here.

The apartment is above our garage and it is also possible to park right next to the apartment. If you come with kids, feel free to jump in the trampoline or play in the playhouse. Unwind in this unique and tranquil space. The cottage is far out in the countryside and it is close proximity to the forest and countryside. There are many lakes around, perfect for those who are interested in animals, nature, hiking and fishing. There is a private boat in a small lake (about 2 km), barbecue area, sauna and wind shelter to use.

Newly built guest house with 2 separate apartments, which can be rented together or separately. The guesthouse is adjacent to our desert farm and has access from outside to its own toilet, bath and outdoor kitchen with gas stove. The lovely terrace has sun from dinner to sunset and views of the creek.
