Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Skopelos

Benny was great at getting in touch and helping with questions before we traveled. On arrival, Benny had told us we would be met at the airport and given guidance on how to get to the property which all went smoothly. The property was in an amazing location, and was generally clean and tidy, with everything working. The property is fairly basic and functional , but we didn’t mind that. Some updates of beach chairs, and a few other tweaks wouldn’t go amiss. Benny’s advice about car hire and restaurants was extremely helpful. Both he and Mike were in touch during our stay to offer help if it was needed. On checking out, we couldn’t locate the bin area so didn’t quite know where to leave the rubbish. We would definitely consider coming back as overall, the balance of location, spec of the property and the price were spot on for our family holiday in late May. We adored our stay at Thavama Summer House. The location and view from the living room are stunning, and I could have sat there for hours!🌊🍋 The accommodation iwas clean, bright, comfortable and we felt right at home- with everything you need for a stay. The terrace is so lovely to sit out on for any time of day. 💛 The location is peaceful, however there is a kiosk only a 3 minute walk away, a gorgeous beach 5 minutes away, and you are only 10 minutes away from the beautiful town and harbour. We didn’t have a car and everything was so accessible by foot.There is also a bus stop right outside and the bus links are excellent and such a good price! 🐚🚌 Thanasis is such a responsive and friendly host- answering our questions, including about transport from the airport, he came over to show us how to use the thermostat as we asked about this, and had the property cleaned, linens changed, etc, halfway through our stay! 💕 Check-in and finding the house was easy. I can definitely recommend this location. It was clean, private, calm, on the countryside and had almost everything you need (kitchen, WiFi, terrace, barbecue place, lemons and grapes on the trees in the garden). Maria is changing the sheets once a week and is cleaning up twice a week. You should only be aware of animal noises (roosters, sheep, dogs, pheasants...) :-) - but this is charming! The next very nice beach and the bus station are about 20 min. by foot, I can recommend a vehicle to go to more far away beaches etc. Maria and her daughter are very friendly and helpful, communication was uncomplicated. Mata was wonderful, the best host we've had! She's very kind, attentive, she gave us great recommendations and exceeded every expectation. The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable, every little detail shows the love and dedication with which Mata cares for it. Every space delicately perfumed and the whole house was impeccably clean. The porch/terrace is a great space for eating and spending time with family and has a great view of the sea. The island is beautiful and the house is very well located, near the port, the center of the town, and the bus station. Every beach we went to was beautiful and not too far away. Even though there are a few stairs to climb to get there, the view from the house is worth the climb. There are also some stairs inside the house so people with reduced mobility should be aware of that. We had an incredible time in Skiathos and at Mata's place, if you had the goodluck to find this house dont doubt it! It's worth it. Both Mata and the house are a 100!

Panagiota's mother met us to show us into the house, but Panagiota was always available at the end of the phone. The house was perfect, having everything we could need, and the terrace was the perfect place to relax under the parasol. Ideally located with an easy walk into the centre of the village for restaurants, bakery etc. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this house.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The home was spotless clean and cozy. The location was great, very quiet neighborhood, and easy walk to town. The host was at the airport waiting for our arrival. The host was kind, welcoming, responsive, recommended restaurants and beaches. I recommend this home.

just amazing so special for us so relaxing two large patios we ate El fresco every day sunbathed and enjoyed the most amazing views of the sea and islands Kostas and Paraskevi must be justifiably proud of this accomodation highly recommend to any one looking for something very special

Dimitris was an amazing host, very responsive and with great suggestions for what to do on the island. The house was perfect and in an amazing location. And Alonissos, wow! We can’t wait to go back.

A lovely rustic old fashioned, but well equipped third floor apartment in a residential area. Looked as shown in photos. Fantastic views from balcony with afternoon sun to sit and enjoy. Clean and tidy with a lovely welcome pack. Really easy to check in, above the family bakery shop - so any problems, someone close by on hand. On the outskirts of town, 15 minutes walk to No 4 bus stop, supermarket and fruit shop. Mini Mart 2 mins away, Skiathos town and old port 5 mins away. A bit of a walk up hill to return so you need to have a degree of fitness, plus it is up two flights of stairs. But then if it wasn't you wouldn't get the views. We will definitely be returning.

My husband and I stayed for one week in this magical place. We were greeted from the ferry by Manolis, who was a wonderful host. The villa is surrounded by garden and has plenty of private parking if you want to rent a scooter or car. Outside of the kitchen, living room and master bedroom there are double doors leading out onto the veranda where seating areas have been thoughtfully placed. Inside is cool and tastefully decorated. There is air conditioning should you need it, and two large double bedrooms, both with bathrooms. The kitchen is clean and well equipped, with a coffee machine. The villa has been finished to a very high standard and beautifully furnished. The town of Skopelos is a short walk away, as is the port. Closer still are cafes, restaurants, and a supermarket. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return.

We loved our stay at this house! The view from the porch is incredible, you can see the whole of Skopelos city on the hillside and the water of the port. It was so lovely to spend time on that porch any time of day. The house itself is very charming and comfortable, I would think it would be a great choice for a family as well (we stayed there as two friends in our 20s)! About a 10-15 minute walk down to the main port area and easy parking at the property if you rent a car. The host came to give us new linens every other day. The water pressure of the shower was low and be aware that it is a hand held shower head instead of one mounted to the wall. Otherwise everything went smoothly and comfortably and we had a great time in Skopelos. Thank you so much!

big house in a really Quiet place in the woods but with normal road and 2 restaurants wigh fantastic view. as it is on the hill there was fantastic temperature during the night even during the day there were 35 degrees. also terrace for having meal outside. some furniture are a little old, but the accomodation is well equipped

We had a wonderful time at Rania's place. Very clean apartment in a quiet olive garden, superb garden and Rania was very welcoming - this really makes the difference. Also, you can find everything needed for family vacation: dishes, olive oil, even home made cake and vegetable and eggs from the garden, umbrella and toys for the beach. Definitely recommended. Also I recommend to rent a car, the island is worth exploring

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Nina and would thoroughly recommend this house. Andonis couldn't have been more helpful. He gave us lots of tips for places and restaurants to visit around the island. The house is beautiful with breathtaking views over Skopelos town. We arrived on Saturday evening and were very impressed that the owner had left us the ingredients for an evening meal, a bottle of wine and lots of delicious home grown fruit. We fell in love with Skopelos and will definitely be back to this villa.

A stunning villa with a gorgeous view of the sea, which is beautifully furnished with comfortable furniture and antiques. Christina was very friendly and welcoming and provided a great list of beach and restaurant recommendations. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely visit again.

We loved our stay at Skiathea Villas - the best AirBnb we've ever stayed in!! Filippos was the perfect host - he met us at the airport and drove us to the villa to check in, gave us lots of great recommendations and even some delicious homemade liquor. The villa is fantastic - exactly as pictured. Lovely pool area with very comfortable sofa bean chairs and incredible views. It's a real treat that the villa is cleaned daily by Mary and the pool is also cleaned daily. The recommendations from Filippos really made the trip special - on his recommendation we tried so many fab restaurants, hired a very fun 4 wheel drive car (highly recommended to explore the North side of the island) and went to some great beaches. He was always very responsive and friendly. The villa is up a dirt track road which is fine to drive in a 2 wheel drive car and a good walk if you're up for it. In walking distance there's some restaurants, a fun pool bar and a shop. It's about 15 mins drive to Skiathos town.

We had an excellent stay at the villa. Amazing views, quiet location, decent-sized pool for the family. All the necessary equipment in the kitchen was there as well as useful aircon during hot summer nights. I would recommend without hesitation.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit in Glossa. Diese Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sind ein Privileg! Die Zufahrt erfolgt über eine schmale, unbefestigte, ausgewaschene und abfallende Strasse. Dazu braucht es allerdings kein 4WD Fahrzeug. Jedoch etwas Fahrgeschick. Jederzeit hat uns die Hausverantwortliche unterstützt wenn dann überhaupt Fragen aufgetaucht sind. Es fehlte an nichts! Wenn man einen kleinen Mangel suchen möchte, dann ist es vielleicht die etwas verkalkten Duschköpfe..., also kaum der rede wert. Alles in allem genossen wir die Tage wie im Pardies.. Wenn wir wieder nach Skopelos reisen würden, dann wäre diese Haus an erster Stelle.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans la maison dont la vue est exceptionnelle ! Nous étions au calme (la saison n’avait pas encore démarrée) dans une maison qui a beaucoup de charme et très proche de la plage (déserte début mai 😊) ! L’accueil a été vraiment formidable et très amical ! Nous recommandons vivement cette maison et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir !
