Old, cozy cottage in the countryside, yet close to everything

Next to Hjälstaviken's nature reserve is this cottage, which is a wing building to Husby-Sjutolft's vicarage. Parts of the house are probably from the 1700s. The house is 60 square meters with two rooms, kitchen, hall and bathroom with shower. You live next door to the host family, but have your own "backside" with a balcony down the afternoon and evening sun and views of the agricultural landscape. In the area, there are nice walking paths and trails around Hjälstaviken, at Ekolsund Castle and in the forests around. Grocery store is within 10 km.

In the heart of the village of Brunnsta you will find this peaceful and quiet accommodation. Here you live rural but still close to surrounding cities like Stockholm and Uppsala and Arlanda airport. There are public transport by bus 1 km from the property and long-distance trains and commuter trains 8 km from the property. The accommodation is primarily for 2 people but an extra bed can be set up. For a fee of SEK 200/night, a nearby cottage on the property can also be used as a sleeping place for an additional person.

Cook a good dinner in the large kitchen, or play games and watch movies together in front of the fire. By car you can make excursions to local farm shops, Ekolsund Castle, Hjälstaviken and also to the swimming area in Lake Mälaren within 10 min. If you want to take the bus to Uppsala (40 min) or Enköping (15 min), they go directly 230m from the house.

Small cozy guest house on a leafy plot. 400 meters from the cottage is Lake Mälaren. Here you can swim at a jetty or small beach in the summer and ice skate in the winter. Close to a beautiful nature reserve with barbecue areas and nice forest. The cottage has a room and bathroom. It has a small, but fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a bed (140 cm) as well as a folding guest bed (70 cm). In the bathroom, there is a washing machine, shower and toilet. Sheets and towels included.

A few meters to the lake with for swimming. 15 minutes to Arlanda Airport and 35 minutes to Stockholm City. Sigtuna is the oldest town in Sweden with lots of charming restaurants, cafés and shops.

The cottage is located close to the main building and has its own balcony with lake views. Beautiful surroundings and close to the lake with a swimming area, about 100 meters away. On the property, there is a dog and during summertime there are sheep.
