It has a private south facing garden .Beautifully furnished with antique furniture It’s a truly magical little cottage and feels like you have stepped back in time . A deep bath . Log burning stove . Ashes Cottage is a beautiful, bright, 17th century farm cottage with picture postcard views from every window. It is cosy, warm and full of modern amenities such as underfloor heating and a log burning stove. From the front door there are footpaths to Staveley village with its selection of pubs, cafes and shops. Only 15 minutes drive to Lake Windermere - it's a fantastic base to explore The Lake District. Afternoons on the patio watching the sheep are highly recommended!
