Cheerful place to stay in converted barn

Sure, it is possible to combine fresh and comfortable accommodation with rural idyll, close to gardens, forest and lake! In 2022, we embarked on an exciting project to transform the barn on my grandfather's parent farm into a luxury leisure home. In May 2023 we finished the one apartment and in the autumn the other. The possibilities are many: enjoy the tranquility of forest walks, by the lake or on the patio in the evening sun and combine with excursions in the surrounding area and southern Sweden. Loading the car is included in the price.

2 km outside Hok's community, 30 km south of Jönköping you will find this cottage. The cottage is located in nice surroundings with forest and fields. The cottage is located at Hoks naturcamping - a quiet and family campsite. As a neighbor, we have Hook's mansion, where you can play golf or enjoy their lovely spa. There are very nice hiking areas in adjacent forest and meadow land. This is perfect for those who travel with a dog or like to walk in the woods and land. The cottage is not rented out for a long period of time.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely house. If you are looking for a quiet cosy place with lots of activities to do in the surroundings, this is the place to go. Solvig is a really nice host. We went with a kid of 4 and did a nice hiking tour in the national park and went to Isaberg for a nice playground and lots of fun activities. Thank you for your hospitality Solvig!

Fantastic cabin to enjoy silence and nature. Loving furnishings , highlight was the fireplace, which captivates a pleasant atmosphere in the evening. John lovingly provided us with drinking water😊. The other cabins are also very chic to look at. In the evening you heard the moose in the forest, unfortunately we did not see one on site. But in the national park, on the lookout tower , you could see them all coming out of the forest. We didn't get to meet him unfortunately, but we'll be back next year and stay longer than 5 days. Can definitely recommend it to others.

I can highly recommend renting Lene’s cozy summer house. The house is charmingly decorated, and the kitchen has all the essentials you need. The rooms are cozy, and you sleep wonderfully and comfortably. The surroundings and nature are fantastic and beautiful. There are plenty of lovely walks to take in the area. When I arrived, Lene stopped by to say hello. She brought two eggs for my breakfast, which was incredibly sweet of her. As a hostess, Lene is welcoming and a delightful acquaintance.

We (family with two grown children) had a wonderful vacation in a very nice and renovated house that is tastefully and modernly furnished. It has a wonderfully large terrace that goes down to the lake. Swimming in the lake was also very possible in August (approx. 22°C water temperature) and a bathing ladder facilitates access. The surroundings are very natural and quiet and there are only a few houses on the lake. The free rowboat allows fishing, for example. We also liked that Per also thinks of small things: In addition to bed linen and towels (incl. bath towels), coffee filters, coffee, salt, olive oil, garbage bags, detergent and much more were also available - this is not a matter of course. Communication with Per was very friendly, he always responded quickly and helped when something was wrong or answered our questions quickly. We will be happy to come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sofia’s Airbnb. The decor was lovely and the location was peaceful & beautiful! We would love to go back.
