Accommodation is best suited for max 2 adults and 2 children. Double bed can be shared, and an extra single bed is available. The house is in a scenic area, with about 1 km down to the lake. This small lake house with a fantastic view, is situated right outside Borås by Öresjö lake. The lake is very clean and wonderful for swimming, canoeing and fishing. With a stay in this little house you get the best of two worlds, a typical Swedish country stay, tranquil with only the sound of bird song and the little stream, the friendly town Borås with all the amenities just 10 minutes away, then the big city life in Gothenburg 55 minutes away.

House Kilstrand directly on Lake Säven

The house was renovated in 2017 and impresses our guests with its interior design. Here, solo travelers, couples and families alike feel comfortable. There is also the possibility for befriended travelers to rent the neighboring beach cabin and Kilstrand house at the same time and thus be on the go with friends and still maintain their retreat option. The house has a rowboat on its own shoreline, sauna. The lake views are magnificent. Netflix TV

Log cabin of 35 m2 located 30 m from Lake Säven, 25 km north of Borås. The cottage consists of a living room with panoramic windows facing the lake and a fireplace. Behind a kitchenette with stove, fridge/freezer and a modern bathroom. Bedroom contains 2 bunk beds and in the living room there is also a sofa bed. The cottage is on the east side of the lake, so sunset over the lake towards the house. Guest brings own bed linen and bath towels
