Guesthouse vacation rentals in Skagafjörður

I really enjoyed my stay at Swany’s. I arrived very late and she greeted me in person. Swany was welcoming, friendly, social, and she invited me to join her and her friends in her natural spring hot tub for midnight sun! It was beautiful and nice to talk with other travelers. My Airbnb room was cute, clean, and comfortable. The shared bathroom and kitchen were clean and had everything I needed. I enjoyed the meditation loft too. This is somewhat like a hostel with numerous individual bedrooms and two shared kitchens and two shared bathrooms. There is plenty of space which is beautifully decorated, and every room has a spectacular view of the lake. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Swany!

We loved our stay at Sela! Swany is so lovely and has put so much beautiful energy and care into her home. So grateful for our stay here- despite the weather not being in our favour!

Swany hat hier etwas ganz besonderes geschaffen - wir haben uns wirklich sofort wohl gefühlt. Es gibt 2 Küchen und 2 Badezimmer, das Bad (zumindest das, was wir benutzt haben) ist wirklich groß und modern. Das Haus ist ein Mix aus "altmodisch" und modern, wirklich sehr sehr schön und liegt quasi unmittelbar am Fjord. Wir haben von da aus keine Wale gesehen - dafür aber im nächsten Ort Dalvik, direkt vom Strand aus morgens und Abends. Es gibt einen Hot Tub und die Gegend ist die wahrscheinlich schönste, die wir je gesehen haben. Man kann das Wasser, die Landschaft und die Mitternachtssonne vom Bett aus beobachten. Swany selbst ist eine sehr zuvorkommende, freundliche und einfach herzliche Person, mit der man sich sehr gerne unterhält. Wir würden jederzeit gerne zurück kommen. Liebe Grüße :)

Dit was een TOP verblijf! heel groot, mooi en proper. Bed was groot en héél comfortabel en zelfs de zetel zat héél goed! Dolly was absoluut de kers op de taart, zij heeft meerdere uren bij ons komen hangen voor aandacht en wrijfjes 😁 Einar was heel vriendelijk bij onze aankomst. Enorm genoten van ons verblijf hier!

Es war mehr als nur perfekt. ❤️ Wir haben uns direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt. Swany ist eine wirklich liebe Frau, ihr Airbnb ist viel mehr wie einfach nur eine schlafmöglichkeit es ist eine wunderbare Erfahrung, ein Ort für Erholung und zum wohlfühlen! Wir möchten auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und wir konnten an zwei von zwei Abenden die nordlichter sehen und das sogar im hottub.. Es war einfach perfekt vielen vielen Dank!!!

Swany's place is absolutely cozy and she is such a friendly host. Super well equiped kitchen and nice living area where you can spend some time in the evening. Everything was super clean and great whale watching company is super close! Highly recommend this place!

Our stay at Sela was exceptional. Swany went above and beyond in every way, and made our stay feel very special. By far our highlight of our Iceland trip, we will certainly be back. Thank you Swany 💛
