The two houses were restored in 1978-79 and in 1982 received a diploma from the "Association for Building and Landscape Culture" and "Europa Nostra". The two houses are protected to this day and are mostly seen as a photo stop for tourists. The house is located right down to the water, which is seen from the windows, but at the same time in the middle of the city, with life and a lot of activities. If you want to be on the beach, Kobæk beach is only 2 kilometers away.

The house has air conditioning and a wood-burning stove. Annex contains room with double bed. House and annex are connected by wooden terrace and there is outdoor shower with hot water. Bedroom in the house as well as loft and alcove.

Half-timbered house from the 1700s in the middle of the old town of Nyborg. The house has been restored with respect for the preservation value, and it's like stepping into an H. C. Andersen adventure with modern facilities available. There are views of the moat, the library and the top of the castle from the living room windows, and in the courtyard you can relax under the shade of the cherry trees. On the same street is Nyborg Museum and Apoli Bistro, and in the square the children can dip their feet in the local fountain.

If you need to relax with your better half or a good friend in beautiful surroundings with fantastic views of the water, 150 m to the nearest bathing area and close to the beach and forest, then this beautiful gem is a good bet. Here are restaurants with delicious food, Brugsen and the bakery are within walking distance and there are many sights nearby.
