Peaceful unique townhouse in the artists' city

A unique opportunity to see and stay in one of the two small, yellow, brick-built houses by the water. The two houses were restored in 1978-79 and in 1982 received a diploma from the "Association for Building and Landscape Culture" and "Europa Nostra". The two houses are protected to this day and are mostly seen as a photo stop for tourists. The house is located right down to the water, which is seen from the windows, but at the same time in the middle of the city, with life and a lot of activities. The house has an entrance hall, bathroom/toilet with sauna, bedroom and a large kitchen/living room with alcoves. From the living room there is access to a nice large loft. The house has air conditioning and a wood-burning stove. Annex contains room with double bed. House and annex are connected by wooden terrace and there is outdoor shower with hot water. Bedroom in the house as well as loft and alcove.

The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the scene for a wonderful place. The house was voted the winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful cottage on DR1 (2014). The well-appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 m to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for a family with 2-3 children. All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. In addition, the landscape is created for beautiful walks and bike rides.

Fjordgarden - Guesthouse

Our guest house is situated only 100m from Holbæk Fjord by a little lake surrounded by trees. When you live in the house you are close to nature, with easy access to the Fjord. The fjord is often used for water sports. Bicycle- and walking routes makes it easy to take tours, and with a short distance to the center of Holbæk (5 km) you can easily experience the town. Because of the lake, just in front of the guesthouse, it is not suitable for smaller children.

The guest house has its own bathroom and kitchen. It has a private entrance and parking. Great for an overnight or two when you're on the go. Not a summer house. Tenant can self check in. I will not greet as a host unless desired by tenant. Sleeps 4 Double bed: 180x200 Single bed: 90x200 Bed: 120x200 Cleaning, bed linen and towels are included. Dishwasher and underfloor heating The area is scenic and there are many good walks.

Our cottage is for cozy, relaxing family and friend trips. There are 3 good double beds in 3 rooms. There is a loft with room for slightly larger children, nice mattresses. A very user-friendly house, simple and nice. There is a good internet connection and good board games in the house. We have opted out for the sake of coziness. The beach is 500 meters away. There is a good restaurant and ice cream kiosk right on the beach.
