Welcome TO my cottage IN Gopshus! This is where you go to lower the pulse. The cabin is located at the end of a cape at Spjutmosjön and the view from the kitchen window is something extra. It was built in the 1950s and renovated in 2008 (not the bathroom). In the kitchen, you have to challenge yourself in cooking on a wood stove, which is not so difficult if you think about baking and souffles where exact temperatures are necessary. 🙂 In the living room there is a fireplace and sofa bed for two. Extra beds are available.

Here you are close to both alpine facilities/hiking trails such as Kläppen (approximate hour away by car) and cross country skiing /biking in the Vasaloppet track (about 1,5 km to Eversberg Kontrollen). In Evertbergssjöarna and Öster Dalälven there is the opportunity for both swimming and fishing and down in the village you will find a well-stocked Lifvs shop. Smoke and pets free. Note: Own sheets and towels are brought!

Great views of Orsa lake, mountains, fields and meadows. Our wonderful garden with apple trees, raspberries, flowers, etc. Here you can rest and charge your batteries. It is about 3 km to Orsa city center . Rich bird life. 20 min. to Grönklitt. Orsasjön with long-distance skating and ski tracks. 15 km to Mora and Vasaloppet.

I spent a weekend in the cottage with my two children for a soccer cup in the area, we also had time for a visit to Leksand summerland. The cottage was inviting, everything was clean and nice, freshly picked flowers on the table and beds made when we arrived. Well-equipped kitchen. Fantastic location right by the water and the veranda under the roof that faced the lake was a favorite. We felt welcome and the host Maria was easy to communicate with. We are very pleased and can warmly recommend the accommodation, we will gladly return!
