Sonia house

Built in 1896, this traditional Cretan stone house is located in the village Sivas, Crete, Greece, with great views of the Messara plain and the mountain of Psiloritis and within walking distance to the village square. The house has been substantially restored and renovated with natural materials and great care in order to offer amenities for absolute comfort both in summer and winter time, while retaining all its traditional architectural and decorative elements, typical of the region.

Set in the highest, most open part of the village, this villa was built with a fortress-style layout to protect against past raids. The lower level dates back centuries—a stone inscription, believed to be an Arabic prayer, was discovered here, offering a glimpse into the home’s fascinating past. Villa Bougainvillea is an old stone house that was build in early 19th century and was renovated recently. It is 10 minutes away from the famous beaches of Matala, Kommos,Agiofarago, Kalamaki, Kokkinos Pyrgos and Kaloi Limenes. Because it’s in the south part of Crete, even in the windy days you can find a beach that’s calm enough for swimming. The Minoan palace of Faistos, the archeological site of Gortyna, the cave-graves of Matala are also only 10 minutes away.

It has a terrace with a view of Psiloritis, a romantic courtyard garden where you can enjoy your privacy undisturbed, a double bedroom, a small kitchen and a bathroom with a spacious shower. Everything has been designed with great attention to detail. Information about the climate tax: In the case of Little Pearl, it is 8.00 euros per night.

Built into a sun-warmed hillside in southern Crete, our main house was the one we designed for ourselves — and it shows. Open-plan living with floor-to-ceiling windows, mountain views to the north, and sunsets over the Mediterranean to the west. Relaxing in the living room, you can see the ancient Minoan palace of Phaistos across the Messara Valley. It's the kind of place where you sit down with your coffee and an hour disappears.

SYSILO 1 | Luxury Villa with Private Pool

SYSILO 1 is an elegant 55 sq.m. villa that accommodates up to 5 people. The cooling of the interior is done with a fan coil and the heating is underfloor. There are ceiling fans for cooling. It has a private courtyard with a private saltwater pool, a relaxation area & outdoor dining area, as well as sea views. Ideal for families & friends. In the private courtyard there are sunbeds and pouf sunbeds around the pool.
