Everything was great! We felt very comfortable. The accommodation is really perfect for switching off for a few days. Since the weather was not good with us, unfortunately we could not do so much, but otherwise there are nice outdoor activities. :)

We had a wonderful time at the chalet! The accommodation is very nice, lovingly decorated and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The surroundings invite you to relax – perfect for escaping the ordinary. The contact with the hosts was super friendly and straightforward. We felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend the chalet!

Lovely cottage for a week away with our toddler. Beautiful quiet park and wooded area. The garden of the cottage offers all kinds of nice playgrounds for children, so you can sit quietly as a parent.

We had an excellent stay at Anneke’s place. The place was quite aesthetic as well as so convenient with an amazing garden. Our 3 year old daughter especially enjoyed the trampoline and the swing in the garden. The location was really apt, we could do day trips to Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans, Hague, Utrecht, Haarlem. Overall a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

An all-around great house in the holiday park de Krim. The house is quietly located, but also very central. The center of the park is only a few minutes' walk away, which is great with smaller children. The contact with Gerdi is very friendly and straightforward. We had a really nice vacation on Texel and would be happy to come back.

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

A great and clean house in a quiet area. With 8 people, we were fine with the rooms and bathrooms. Pool was to our satisfaction!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Soest! The place was incredibly clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated — a perfect retreat surrounded by nature. The horses on the property added a unique and peaceful touch, and there was plenty to do in the area for nature lovers. What truly made the stay exceptional was the warm hospitality of the owner, Denise. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Joke is great! She is very friendly and is always helpful. The apartment is just great for 2 people, pragmatically equipped and incredibly quiet. We sat in the garden in the afternoon after our morning cycling or hiking tours and enjoyed the tranquility. Restaurants, supermarket, bakery, etc. are in walking distance. Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Medemblik are within 1 hour by car. We felt more than comfortable here!

We had a really nice stay at Carlijn's, the place is nicely decorated and nothing is missing. Perfect for dogs, with the fenced garden. What you have to keep in mind is that the beach is only accessible by car, about 15 minutes' drive.

The cottage has a great starting point for excursions, whether to the beach in Bergen, Egmond or Pretten, as well as to be in Amsterdam in less than an hour. On the second day, we felt slowed down and relaxed by the quiet environment :) Our dog was also totally relaxed in the garden to sunbathe and our child was happy with the toys on site. The accommodation offers everything for everyday needs and was completely sufficient for us - we felt right at home and would have liked to have stayed longer. You come and the beds are already made and the towels are arranged. All included. We will be happy to come back!

Small cottage with in a top location. The house was very cozy in the backyard of Ellen. We found everything we needed (spices, oil, tissues, etc.) and even got some fresh eggs. We spend two lovely days here and will come back.

A beautiful place to stay, fantastically quiet and rural, yet close to Amsterdam. The house is a dream😍, Albert a very nice landlord.

The stay at Els and Ted's house was fantastic! 😊 The house was extremely clean and tidy! And everything looks so beautiful and new, especially the bathrooms. Els and Ted are very warm hosts and very child-friendly :) The garden is large and also totally well maintained. The children had a lot of fun there on the swing/slide and we were allowed to borrow 2 go-karts and the children were also allowed to feed the chickens with Els :) We also got fresh eggs ;) In bad weather, there is an indoor playground nearby, where the children had a lot of fun. So an all-round successful weekend and we can imagine coming back :) All the best to Els & Ted and thank you for your hospitality :)

Very good! The house is beautiful, quiet and fully equipped.The neighbors are very friendly and helpful.Especially Knauer, Ralf, he took the initiative to help us set up the BBQ grill, and finally we shared a pleasant dinner with him.Everything is wonderful!

We had a lovely stay at Michael’s place. We booked it for a girls trip with a group of 7. It was the perfect size, lovely surroundings and really central! Would definitely recommend!

The house is very spacious, clean and has a great outdoor space. The bathroom is a stand out with a large shower and double sink. You can walk to the shops, restaurants and sightseeing in the city centre. Would certainly return to this gem in Alkmaar.

There is nothing to add to the comments, the house has its peculiar charme. What is'nt mentioned clealy in the description: you have to bring your own towels. Two bicycles can be rented. The parking place behind the house is public but mostly available. For coffee lovers: machine is available with capsule system 'Dolce Gusto'. You can find more Infos at vakantiehuis-noord-holland(dot com). We would definitely come again.

We stayed with 4 adults and 2 babies in the house under the chestnut and felt super comfortable. The house is furnished with a lot of love, very cozy and well maintained. We felt right at home. The small front garden is beautiful and also behind the house you can sit nicely. With crawling children, the stairs would be very steep and not secured. It was ok with us. A baby bed was available. The communication with Astrid was completely straightforward. We were very warmly personally welcomed and would have been able to enter the accommodation earlier. Nearest beach is a quarter of an hour by car. Alkmaar is easily accessible by bus. Overall, we had a great stay and can absolutely recommend the place!
