Family-friendly vacation rentals in Simonshaven

Marieke and Den have created a surreal, warmly welcoming paradise. The place is even more beautiful than in the photos - spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and full of mindful, aesthetic details. The beauty lies not only in the decor but also in the little things: the carefully curated books, the wide variety of teas, and the fresh garden herbs available for use. We had contact with both Marieke and Den, and they radiate genuine kindness - while still giving you all the privacy you need. It’s a haven of peace, nature, and presence - the perfect place to find rest and reconnect with yourself. A true place of Zen.

We stayed in the apartment for a weekend and felt very comfortable. With the bikes you could easily reach the nearby metro station and we had a good time in Amsterdam. The landlords were very friendly and always easily accessible. I highly recommend this place for Amsterdam stays.

Very pleasant and relaxing stay in this Asian Dreams suite. Quick and easy access to the city center and the surrounding area. We are very happy to have met Anatoly who is a warm and pleasant host and can be reached at any time. Very happy to have spent these two days in Antwerp in the sun!

Plenty of room, quiet neighborhood. The M5 bus made our commute to Train then Amsterdam easier. (Approx 1 hour). Loved the 2 free bikes available for us to use. The sauna was a lovely bonus to use at night to relax. Moniek’s was resourceful and actively answering our questions. Alot of gadget in the house, no cable on TV so it was hard for my elderly parents to figure out how to use an intelligent tv with Netflix and all but we managed differently. Area was really nice close to the house but Almere centrum gets a bit suspicious at night so be aware to not be a women alone at night coming back -even locals fidy not recommended.

Robert is a great host. Responds quickly and accurately. Everything was present inside the accommodation and everything is well arranged. Only pity was that the jacuzzi did not work optimally but also here Robert responded quickly, nice!

Me and my friend had a very nice stay at Mijke's house. The hot pool and sauna were very nice and easy to warm up. The place was very clean and accurately described. We can only recommend it.

My family and I had such a wonderful stay on Richard En Birgit's boat. An absolutely perfect location, so many things to do, and so walkable. The boat was so clean and provided the right amount of space for our stay. Thank you so much for hosting us!

We had a lovely stay here. The cabin is quiet, cosy, and relaxing. Bas had lots of recommendations for things to do nearby. There’s lots of nature for walking and the farm animals (including camel) are only a few meters away. We enjoyed the hot tub and had a quiet evening before a good night of sleep. We would definitely return. Thanks again!

Great position! Great starting point for exploring Amsterdam. The apartment was cozy and bright, nice to have a terrace to chill and get some air. Martin was a great host, very welcoming and helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed. Even got us some welcome drinks and cookies!

Wow! Nor and Mat’s cottage was the perfect escape. The most comfortable stay with picturesque views. The home was immaculate, and Nor and Mat have thought of everything—including toys and crafts for our 3 year old. Their communication and instructions were great, too. The location was wonderful too—a short drive to many restaurants and stores while still quiet and peaceful. We loved our time there!

The space is easy to find. Relaxed check-in via key box. Idyllic location overlooking the water. The property is completely fenced so great for families and people with animals. Kitchen offers everything you need. Basically very clean and well-maintained home. communication was excellent. Anna Nicole is very accommodating and friendly

Enjoyed a pleasant stay in a very quiet area. Friendly communication with Jolanda. Everything was present in the cottage. Enjoyed the garden and the sunset. Beautiful cycling routes from the vacation home. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

We loved our weekend in the caravans. What a joy to relax there in the evening after trudging through the madness of Amsterdam and Rotterdam! Your garden is beautiful, surprisingly quiet and where it is really nice to relax or play with the children! Favorite for Bacon 🐖🐽 and his friends🐔🐔. Very beautiful and spacious home with a peaceful garden. We really enjoyed the silence and the host was amazingly friendly and responsive. They gave us great recommendations on where to visit, what to eat and eben where to buy chocolate for gift! 10/10

We loved staying at Lottes. it is in a great position, you have the quiet of being in the country side but the ability to be in Amsterdam within 30 minutes. We loved the cosiness of the accommodation and its rustic looks. Having 4 hens in the hen house made us feel like home. The breakfast was ample and varied every day. Lotte was informative and helpful. I highly recommend this B and B.

Lovely stay, stunning view! Well ventilated. Only drawback, its on the top floor so its a bit difficult to manage with luggage and i have an ankle injury which got a bit painful ngl! Otherwise, AMAZING!

Beautiful cottage with a lovely swimming pool. Beautiful large kitchen. Ideally furnished for larger family of 6 people. Warm welcome. The wine was ready, as well as cake and sweets ! Certainly subject to repetition!

Great place and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything worked out for us ☀️

Nice tranquil bungalow in a family park with lots to do. Dunes and beach not far away.

We stayed for a weekend in an apartment in Magd, everything was very good, the place is very nice and quiet. We recommend without hesitation

Lovely place. Very quiet and private. Lots of kitchen appliances and lovely decorated home. Tholen is a very quiet island with not very much to do. We did a lovely seal boat trip from St Annaland.

We had a nice time with our two children in the chalet. The welcome and also the farewell by Robert's mother-in-law was very warm. It was very clean and we had everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable. The washing machine and dryer are also great - on vacation with children is simply practical! The beautiful beach is really quick to reach. Thank you also for the friendly care and quick response to messages. And of course thank you for a lovingly furnished chalet in a quiet location,which gave us another nice break.

What a lovely place this is! A lovely cozy cottage with a fantastic outdoor space with veranda and hammock. Every morning you can have breakfast outside in the sun with the birds in the background. Our daughter liked all the toys, everything has been thought of. The location is also great, 5 minutes walk to campsite and beach, but the area of the cottage is nice and quiet. Communication is great, friendly people! In short; recommended!
