The small yellow annex is located in the middle of the beautiful countryside of Bakkeland. It's quiet here, and the wild animals graze happily in the garden as the day awakens. The wood-burning stove provides a cozy warmth in the old house, and from the loft, there is a view of meadows and fields. In the main house, Philip, Helene, Asger (5), and Axel (3) live together with our two happy dogs (females). It is 2 km to Bryrup, where the lake swimming area, the tennis courts or the old vintage car track can provide entertainment. Double bed upstairs and sofa bed downstairs. 1 large room.

Find the coziness and tranquility when you stay in this nice, newly renovated home. Good access via road 453/461. Nature is right in the backyard, as the house has land directly to the Gudenåen. For those of you who enjoy fishing, hiking, cycling or rowing in a canoe/kayak but want a real bed and a hot shower after an active day. Sit by the fire and pitch your tent by the river. The apartment is on the 1st floor and was thoughtfully and beautifully renovated in the spring of 2023. Bed linen, towels, dishcloths, etc. are included in the price.

Breakfast is not provided though, but instead you can visit the requested sourdough baker or the bakery in the supermarket just downstairs. Forest cabin in scenic surroundings. Located on a 5200 m2 private property. In the immediate area there is access to Karup River and Nature National Park Kompedal Plantage. In the cottage there is a kitchen-living room, wood stove, bathroom, bedroom with a short double bed (NOTE the bed is short W: 140 x L: 180 cm) and loft with 2 beds (180 x 200). There is a nice wooden terrace with access to an annex with an extra bedroom. IMPORTANT: The tenant is responsible for cleaning and tidying up. No partying or loud music.

Gudenå Annex

Relax with the family in this peaceful home close to Gudenåen. We are a family of two adults and our 3 children, aged 2-8, who rent out our extra guest house/annex in the garden. You will enter our private garden and, during your stay with us, will share the garden with us as a common area. There is also the possibility that you can be a little more private, as you will have your own terrace attached to the annex. Of course, we respect if you want it more private, but playing children in the garden can occur.😊

Smingehytten er en bjælkehytte som ligger ugenert omgivet af marker, å, enge og skov. Hytten ligger med adgang til Gudenåen og med Gjern bakker som baghave. Hytten ligger tæt på Gudenåen, 50 m., men ikke direkte ud til åen. Hytten er omgivet af uspoleret natur med fred og ro og et rigt dyre- og fugleliv. I området omkring hytten er der rig mulighed for aktiviteter som mountainbike, vandring, golf, kano, kajak, badeland, ridning mm. Hytten ligger 15min. kørsel fra Silkeborg og 45min. til Århus.
