Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Sigiriya

Falls ihr noch überlegt welche Unterkunft ihr in der Umgebung Sigirya/Dambulla buchen sollt, bucht diese Unterkunft !! Der beste Aufenthalt den wir auf Sri Lanka hatten. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und gemütlich. Der See hinter dem Haus ist wunderschön zum Sonnenuntergang. Das allerbeste ist aber Lahiru und seine Familie. Seine Mutter macht ein wunderbares Frühstück und alle sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Lahiru und sein Vater haben uns für einen Top Preis überall hingefahren und abgeholt und sie waren immer erreichbar. (Ich empfehle die Tour nach Ritigala mit Lahiru, das war wunderschön !) Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, falls es uns nochmal nach Sri Lanka verschlägt. Danke für alles !

C’est une excellente adresse ! Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres avec tout le confort. Madu et son équipe vous accueille et vous aide à organiser votre séjour. Très bon petit déjeuner. Bon dîner et si vous voulez changer de cuisine il y a de bons restaurants à Sirigya, pas loin. Vraiment je recommande cette adresse.

eine sehr nette Familie, ein tolles (zusätzlich zu bezahlendes, aber lohnendes) Frühstück, toll gelegen, zum See 10 Minuten zu Fuß, ruhig

Wir konnten leider nur 2 Nächte bei Aaryya verbringen, da wir zurück nach Colombo zu unserem Weiterflug mußten. In den 1,5 Tagen haben wir sehr viel und viel schönes von Anuradhapura gesehen. Die Empfehlungen kamen von Aaryya und einen verlässlichen TukTuk - Fahrer hatte Sie auch. Es war eine schöne Zeit bei Ihr und wir hätten gerne länger dort verweilt. In der Zwischenzeit, wo wir nicht unterwegs waren haben wir uns gerne mit ihr bei einer Tasse Tee/Kaffee unterhalten und so einen kleinen Einblick in die Kultur und Buddhismus erhalten. Gerne kommen wir wieder zurück.

The room was super clean and the bed was comfortable. There was hot water and mosquito net. The family was nice with me and their kid took me on a walk. Really good advices and help to organise visits if it was needed (he organised a tuktuk to take me to the sunrise hike in Pidurangala). They also have a restaurant in which they prepare amazing food. Therefore, I really recommend this homestay because on top of that is super cheap!! Thanks for everything

I didn't expected to enjoy so much this place. The hosts are just amazing people. Karu was so nice by taking his time to show us his garden, his plants, his usual work around the house, while his wife made the best dinner I had in Sri lanka. Big portions, totally recommend getting dinner here. Spending time with his family and enjoying evening talks was an incredible experience. Could call it a second home :) Also we got some nice tips for a bike ride through silent forest roads, enjoyed it so much we ended up going for 6 hours. Totally recommend. Thanks Karu!

Endroit paisible, chambre propre, bon petit déjeuner inclus et avec un léger surplus on peut prendre un autre repas. Près de tout en marchant qq minutes. Je vous recommande cet endroit, bon rapport qualité/ prix. Les hôtes sont vraiment gentils ainsi que le beau chien Labrador Léo🐾 Flexible pour l’arrivée, très apprécié surtout après un long voyage! Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben nur eine Nacht hier verbracht. Es kamen beim Frühstück Affen vorbei, beim Abendessen Rehe. Es war sehr schön und wir wurden sehr gut versorgt. Das Essen, von Mutter gekocht, war sensationel. gerne komme wir wieder. Gruß Frank

We loved staying here. It was really back of beyond. Surrounded by really beautiful countryside it was a really relaxing stay. The staff looked after us really well, and were so helpful, and the food was fantastic. Just the place to stay if you want to get away and escape to the countryside.

Gayan's parents were lovely, they were kind, generous and very accommodating. It was the perfect spot for us. They had parking, was clean, had a net, was central to all tourist locations, gave us local tips, provided a delicious breakfast and were in general very lovely. Cannot recommend this more.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great breakfast and clean rooms. Loved the bed! Great airconditioner and lovely upstairs outside area to enjoy a wine or cuppa. One shower hot water didn’t work but a solution was offered immediately. One TV in reception area. Grounds were kept well, didn’t use pool. Would definitely stay again

Place is under new management and hiring new staff for the next season (end 2019). Our interims staff was very attentive and professional, food was excellent, location very central and quiet. Good base to explore the cultural triangle. Rooms were partly in need of maintenance due to some water damage during off season and are currently being renovated. The only thing we missed was a pool, which we were told they want to build until next season.

We booked Mango Villa because it was a recommendation from a couple we met and we’ve been really happy about it! We arrived later than we thought and Santha was worried and wrote us. So lovely! Than, when we finally arrived in the evening we’ve been so tired and hungry but to lazy to go somewhere to eat. So Santha and his wife cooked for us such a delicious curry, it was amazing. We’ve been so happy about that. Santha and his whole family is so warmly and welcoming, we felt so comfortable in the Guesthouse. The room and the bathroom was clean and cozy. What was really good, that there is an mosquito net behind the bathroom window - nothing could come in. On top you can have a hot shower after a rainy day - that was so good. These both things aren’t usual, we hadn’t it before. Also you’ve the great view of the terrace to the Lionrock. The garden is just beautiful! The breakfast was also really good, with coffee or tea, juice and different food. Also we rent a scoter for one day and cruised from one to the other sight seeing place - it was perfect that Santha has it to rent. He gave us a lot of good tips around. Our stay at Miracle's was excellent. We were near to Royal Cave Temple and other sightseeing places. We walked into Dambulla town which took about 20 minutes but always tuk tuk available. We liked the peace away from the town. Roi and his family were so lovely, very friendly and happy. Roi was great giving us lots of information, he got us a driver for our onward journey to Polonnaruwa. Each morning we were served a wonderful and filling breakfast. We had a few evening dinners which were truly delicious. Stay at Miracle's you will not be disappointed......we loved it. Thanks to Roi, his sister, his wife and children

Ubytování u Chathuri bylo naprosto skvělé! Chathuri je neuvěřitelně milá, veselá a přátelská osoba, která se vždy snaží vyjít vstříc❤️ Pro ni není nic problém a její přístup k hostům je opravdu výjimečný. Ubytování samotné je velmi čisté a nachází se na klidném místě, ideální pro relaxaci. Chathuri nám připravila naprosto luxusní snídaně, což je zřejmě zásluha její profesní zkušenosti jako pekařky – každé jídlo bylo nejen chutné, ale i pečlivě připravené. Navíc nám doporučila několik krásných výletů po okolí a zařídila nám odvoz s jejím velmi milým a ochotným kamarádem, což bylo velice praktické a za rozumnou cenu. Cestujeme po Srí Lance již více než dva týdny a musíme říct, že i když jsou všichni lidé zde velmi přátelští, Chathuri je opravdu TOP! Je to skvělý hostitel a zážitek z pobytu u ní patří mezi nejlepší. Určitě ji doporučujeme každému, kdo se chystá navštívit tuto nádhernou zemi❤️❤️❤️

This is a house with a beautiful garden. Very nice and silent. Milan and the family helped me with everything I needed (like getting a scooter and joining a safari tour). Also the breakfast they make is really really good. Highly recommended

Wonderful host and a great apartment to relax and start trips to Lions Rock and Pidurangala Rock. I felt very comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Centrally located. Walkable distance (3 min) to the bus stops to catch a bus. There is a Cargills around 5-7 min walk where you can find mosquito spray if that is bothering you. Wifi can be slow or not working during some time of the day. Walls are a little thin. The host was very hospitable. Breakfast was included. Good prices for what it is.

Das essen in der Unterkunft war wirklich top. Dazu konnten wir während unserem Aufenthalt viele Tiere sehen.

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, un Allogio in mezzo alla natura! Stanza pulita e grande! Siamo sentiti come se fossimo a casa il host e la sua famiglia sono stati sempre disponibili e ci hanno aiutato a pianificare tutte le attività! Allogio si trova in una bellissima posizione la sera ci spostavamo a piedi per andare a mangiare! Colazione preparata con molta cura e gentilezza! Consiglio questo Allogio! Bellissima esperienza sicuramente ritornerò !
