BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. Garden happiness and country love await you at Regine's beautiful thatched cottage in the village of Bellin. Nature lovers are welcome and will feel comfortable here. Surrounded by meadows and forests, relaxation begins right outside the front door. Wonderful forest walks offer new discoveries every day. Fallow deer, sea eagles, bats and cranes are not uncommon. Lake Selenter with the best swimming quality borders directly on the village and the Baltic Sea can be reached quickly by car.

We offer our newly built Danish weekend cottage. (Completed in 2020). It's really small, but has everything you need for a vacation; in terms of amenities & well-being. The cottage is located in a quiet private street. The neighborhood is quiet and very friendly. The beach, bakery, pastry shop, restaurants, an organic shop, beach shopping & Rewe are within walking distance. The sun shines in the heart 365 days a year, starry sky more beautiful than in any big city. Simply beautiful.

The apartment has a room of 20 square meters plus kitchen and shower bath. A terrace with separate access. The location is very quiet, rural. 200 meters to the lake where you can swim. It is 12 km to the Baltic Sea (Neustadt), Lübeck 35 km, Kiel 45 km, Hamburg 85 km. Massenat with its lakes and the possibility to rent canoes/kayaks is 15 km away. The nearest regional train is 9 km away. The landscape is hilly. There are many forests, fields and lakes.

Biking and hiking trails start right at your doorstep, and canoe rental and swimming facilities are close by. The apartment has its own sun terrace and garden area. Mobile tiny house made of wood with 8 cm insulation made of sheep's wool (biocide-free!), loving interior design with plenty of vegetable oiled wood for a healthy indoor climate and harmonious light, untreated larch wood cladding, five large, outward opening windows, running water, multimedia, loft bed with good mattresses and slatted frames, small fridge and room temperature controlled stone slab heating.
