Our "gite" is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage in the most beautiful part of Salt Spring, the south eastern tip, near Ruckle Park. From our cottage, you can walk to this historic working farm and park, explore its forested trails, and then head to the many beach areas a short distance away. Visit farm stands and take the Studio Tour. Take a dip in one of many lakes. Climb Maxwell Mountain or stroll through the Saturday Market and other unique shops. Salt Spring is a true one of a kind.

We are settled on 9.5 acres which you are Welcome to roam. Farm dogs Klaus (Bernese/Aussie) and Pinkie (Dachsi) are friendly and keep busy with roaming the property. Charlies Cabin is located only a 10 minute drive from the hub of Sooke. It’s built on an acreage with stunning views off of the trails. You’re welcome to walk the trail at the back of the cabin and explore the rear of the property. Charlies Cabin is located alongside Sooke Road. Giving easy access to the main road to drive to nearby restaurants, stores, beaches and more. It's a true cabin feel with accessibility to the roadway. There is also a Fireplace & Outdoor Fire pit.
