The suite and upper - hosts floor share one heating and cooling system with a thermostat on main floor. Our guests are able to control a comfortable temperature in the suite by adjusting ceiling vents.

Charming 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom suite located 9.5km from BC Ferries and only 4.5km to Victoria airport (YYJ). We are close to downtown Sidney, a short 15 minute drive to Butchart Gardens and 35 minutes to downtown Victoria. There is a bus on the route, but we are in a rural area and the bus is sporadic. There are plenty of beaches and hiking trails near by as well as the local golf course. Suite is attached to the host home, yet completely private with a separate entrance.

Great place for family and dog. Great back yard. Close to shops, beach and hiking. Very clean with all the amenities. Very artistic home with great art/books. Hosts were very welcoming to us and our puppy! A perfect stay .

Lynne and her dog, Chevy, are great hosts! I stayed for 9 days and Lynne made sure I had everything I needed, at the beginning and throughout my stay. The place is comfortable and quiet, and is about 5-8 minutes from the airport, Sidney and the Swartz Bay ferry. Thanks for a great stay, and look forward to my next trip back!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location is unbeatable — right on the beach and just a short walk to the charming town of Sidney, where you'll find great coffee shops and restaurants. The backyard was a true highlight, with plenty of cozy spots to sit, relax, read a book, or just take in the ocean views. The home itself was spotless, beautifully modern, incredibly comfortable, and very peaceful. Everything about this stay exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend — I would come back in a heartbeat!

We were really happy with David’s guest suite. It was exactly as shown in the pictures, and check in/check out were very easy. There wasn’t a microwave, but the stove/oven makes up for it. We appreciated how compact and tidy everything was, and I found the bed very comfortable. We were happy with our 12 day stay here, and would gladly stay here again when we come back to the area.

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. The bed was super cozy, and all the amenities (Wi-Fi, kitchen, bathroom supplies) were in great working order. I especially appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, and a guidebook with local recommendations. The location was perfect—quiet but still close to restaurants. Check-in was smooth and communication with Colleen was easy and prompt. She were friendly, helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Overall, a fantastic experience and I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The place was beautiful, both inside and outside of the property. We had a beautiful garden view, and a small patio to enjoy our Breaky in the morning! The place itself was very large, with a beautiful, modern kitchen. The bedrooms were nice, with one looking out/ opening up to the garden. The host left a nice booklet of all the best places to shop and eat — which was actually very helpful!! The parking was very good, and we even had “spare parking” If we needed it. Overall, very good stay, and we will be booking it again.

One of the best places we've stayed at. Sidney BC is a very calm & peaceful area. Check in was smooth, the house is very nice with a easily accessible parking spot. The welcome basket of various snacks along with the multiple board games and kids toys were a nice surprise. Just understand the drive to Victoria is about 30 minutes but well worth it for beautiful area. One thing would that help with families with small children would be a small step stool to help with brushing teeth. 😁 In the end, a no frills, way above average stay in a very nice and safe neighborhood.
