Fabulous rural location with beautiful views over adjacent fields. Great for a family getaway with lots of places to visit nearby. Daisy is a really helpful host who provided good local knowledge. The house itself has loads of activities on site which makes it a fun place to be.

Tadpole Mews at Frog Hall

DanielRating, 5 stars4 months ago
What a lovely cottage, and a great host. We chose this cottage because of the quiet location and the hot tub to chill out in, and we were not disappointed. It’s close enough to Chester to access the shops and restaurants, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Lots of walks close by, a nice little village shop and local pub. What more could you ask for. The cottage itself is immaculately presented, very tastefully furnished and has a nice blend of traditional and modern. Looking forward to returning.

Beautiful Cheshire Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at Biff’s quirky cottage. I loved the decor. The beds were comfy, the duvets a bit warm for the weather but we slept great. We went to a wedding at a nearby hotel so the location was perfect for us.

Cosy old cottage conversion

KathrynRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Absolutely loved our stay at Derwen. It's a beautiful old building off a stunning cobbled courtyard behind the main house. Lovely outside seating for warmer weather. The cottage itself is cosy and welcoming and we really appreciated the breakfast hamper and treats for our dog. Jan and Roger are a lovely couple with lots of helpful hints for the local area. Bangor-on-Dee itself is a beautiful little village with two pubs and a village shop, all were used. The church and bridge are lovely and there are lots of good dog walks nearby. Would definitely stay again.

Hargrave Hall Annex

Lovely place. Great for exploring the Chester area. Jo was super helpful and clear with instructions/recommendations. She was also really responsive and friendly. The place was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Really appreciate that toddlers/small children were thought of with the built in stair gates, highchair, travel cot, bath toys etc. Comfy beds and good shower pressure also! Would highly recommend this place and I think Jo is a brilliant host
