What a fabulous stay! Kei provided us with a personal and unique experience in the foothills of Mt Fuji. He went above and beyond to cater to our needs and make us feel welcome. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an authentic Japanese living experience!

Perfect accommodation that exceeded expectations!🏡🗻🐕 Staying at the B&B near Kawaguchiko this time was the highlight of our trip to Japan!The Host Wakoh is super enthusiastic, and has been communicating with us easily in fluent Chinese/English/Japanese since check-in. Not only did he introduce the room facilities in detail, but he also took the initiative to provide a lot of travel tips and hidden attractions around Mt. Fuji, making our trip more enriching ~ ✨Room experience: The B&B is very clean and tidy, cozy, and fully equipped.The most surprising thing was that the host's two dogs were super cute and added a lot of joy to the stay!Breakfast is also super delicious, you can feel the host's care. 🚴‍♀️Additional Services: The electric bike rental service provided by the host is affordable, and it is especially convenient to explore the surroundings of Kawaguchi Lake by bike.What was even more touching was that the Host personally took us to find Mt. Fuji limited edition souvenirs, and even accompanied us on the Kaba Bus to enjoy the scenery, sharing a lot of anime culture and travel photos with each other along the way. 📌In conclusion, If I come to Mt. Fuji again, I will definitely choose this place again!Not only is it comfortable to stay, but it's more like meeting a local friend. The room is very nice and Atsushi is a wonderful host and a great cook! We had a lovely stay.

Thank you Machiko for hosting us and sharing tips on where to catch a great view of Mount Fuji. The view was amazing, and we also got to walk around the village to see some cultural places. Machiko also explained all the house rules well, and since it is a rather old house, there are some things to take note of like the water heater. She let us used to kitchen to make meals too, appreciate it! Her cat is super friendly too. Loved the overall vibe of staying there!

Sachio-san is the loveliest host I've ever met. His home is more beautiful than the pictures could show - the bedroom and its attached reading nook is bright and lovingly furnished, the duvet is ultra soft and comfy, and the toilet and bathroom are squeaky clean. Sachio-san, I will miss your breakfast and coffee with classical music, the warm baths, and the view from your car! Thank you for celebrating my 30th birthday with me. I will treasure this memory for life ❤️

My husband and I had the opportunity to stay at Wakana's for a few nights. The rooms show signs of time (as it says in the description) but it is clean. There was everything we needed including delicious food <3. It was cozy and thanks to the kindness of the owners we felt very well taken care of. We would love to come back to this place again and we recommend it.

Truly Japanese experience! This home is surrounded by beautiful views ^^ And the couple was so friendly and offered us a lot of helpful advice about sightseeing :) We had a great trip thanks to them! If I’m ever in the area again, I will surely come visit them!!

The food and the room were very satisfactory.It was my first time using it, but it was an explanation of the access to the inn, and the communication after I arrived was very polite and pleasant. I would like to stay again if I have a chance.

The Host's English is very good and the people are very welcoming. The area around the house is very quiet.

We had a brief but very relaxing and peaceful stay here. Jun and Kimi are lovely people and the whole place has their kind and warm energy within it. Jun has some fascinating historical facts to share on the area if you are interested, and Kimi makes stunning crystal jewellery. Highlights were their delicious food, the gentle ambient music playing, the beautiful view to the lake from the dining room, the private bath with pure spring water from nearby and the comfy pillows. Only downside was that the mattresses were a little on the thin side for us but I would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you both for a very memorable stay.

This house is vintage with lots of charm. Was 15 minutes walk to the lake and transportation. Not too many choices of restaurants that are near by. I’m happy I had breakfast included in my reservation. The owner is an energetic, older lady very sweet, she made the best breakfast for me every morning. Thank you so much for your hospitality and helping me during my stay.

Couldn't recommend it more!Beautiful house, close to Yamanakako and Hiranoya Station, you can see Mt. Fuji when you go out.The daily breakfast is great. I stayed here for 2 days and was surprised to eat the host's own American and Japanese breakfast. It's really thoughtful. ~ Because I'm here to ride around Mt. Fuji, the host also took us around the lake and introduced us to the attractions along the way. Thank you very much.🙏💗

We enjoyed our stay at HAOSTAY for our day trip to Mt Fuji! The hotel has breathtaking views of Mt Fuji. Check was in easy and they held our luggage until our rook was ready. We love the welcome snacks and keychain welcoming us. Room was just as described and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The free breakfast was lovely and Theresa rooftop terrace to take in the views of Mt Fuji while drinking your coffee. The only complaint of our stay was the downstairs cafe was offering two dinner options, since it was raining the first night we got there, we opted in for the dinner at the hotel. The food was good but when we went to go pay, the waitress says it cash only which caught us by surprise as there was no signs or we were told this was cash only. Thankfully we had some cash but there were other patrons dining at the same time who also wasn’t aware and didn’t have cash on them which led them to walk to the nearest store in the rain to take cash out.

We had a wonderful stay! The cozy hospitality made us feel right at home. Every morning started with a delicious homemade breakfast that was clearly made with care. Our hosts were incredibly kind to our children—offering them snacks, ice cream, and even fireworks, which made their stay extra special. Truly a memorable and heartwarming experience. Highly recommend!
