I enjoyed my stay at Yuka and Han's house. They were always friendly and supportive. The location is peaceful and I also recommend the Sushi restaurant nearby - Kita-san is a great man and cook.

Zuzu& Gizmo's is a beautiful property close to train stations, food, shrines, and more. The home is welcoming and comfortable. It is 4 stops to Shinjuku from the house, so all of Tokyo is at your hands as far as transportation goes. The owner is prompt with responses and so kind. While the property was made for cats, it's still wonderful if you don't. Absolutely would recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at Akira’s place. We were a group of 8 people with 5 adults and 3 kids (10 and under). The house comfortably fit all of us and felt like home — Akira had everything we needed. Loved the residential neighbourhood- gave you a sense of how most people lived - and a restful reprieve after visiting the hustle and bustle of the major city areas. I would mention that if you have a large taxi/transport, it may be difficult to get right to the house as the roadways are very narrow (typical for residential areas). Two laundry places and vending machines right by the house (so convenient)! Walkable to train stations. Look forward to coming back!

We loved staying here! Very comfortable for our family of 6. Great location, very easy to access public transportation and get all around Tokyo. It was a perfect space to come back to after a busy day. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend this place to others.

What a delightful stay we had at Yuri’s place. It was wonderfully spacious for our family of 5, very clean, comfortable and tucked in a charming neighborhood. A short walk to the Sendagi station as well as the bus meant we travelled easily throughout the city. We particularly enjoyed riding the bikes through Yanaka. Rika had everything we needed, including a high chair crib and even some toys. Her house is well located, I loved the neighborhood and the house was super clean too.

We love our stay. The first floor felt a bit limited at first, but in 2 days, we got used to it. It's very clean and well equipped. The location is also good. It's quiet, walkable to the station, and lots of restaurants/shops/supermarkets nearby. We were able to make good memories in this house. Highly recommended. It was such a beautiful home, honestly we had a very different view of it just because we live in the US our perspective of the home was different but once we arrived seeing the architecture and the way the house is built was so wonderful and smart. Everyone loved the house! We felt so comfortable especially the terrace was so peaceful. We loved being able to have two bathrooms as well as having a washer/dryer in one! We were actually so surprised and having little kids with us it was a necessity. We loved how close it was to Uniqlo and other restaurants and stores ESPECIALLY the train station it was such a lifesaver when it came to taking all our luggage’s to head to the airport. Overall we fell in love with Mari’s place and decided to stay at her place when we visit next time! Mari and her team were so responsive and helpful sending guides to places to visit. Thank you so much!

Loved staying here. Probably the best airbnb choice I've made throughout my entire Asia trip this year! Not only was the location in a prime spot, between 2 accessible stations, it was near a great selection of food, convenience stores, and a Don Quijote. My favorite thing about it was the amount of separate bathrooms and showers, big enough for our group of 6 people to utilize without waiting on each other to finish. The hosts were great communicators and very sweet, they understood our travel needs and were able to accommodate us for a few hours early to ensure we didn't have to carry our luggage the entire day before we could fully check-in. Would definitely come back to this airbnb again for a future vacation! Rooms were big enough to have your luggage spread out, also a cozy living room to gather and talk with friends before the day begins. Love, love, loveeeeed our stay!

The stay was amazing. The house had 4 floors including a rooftop balcony and 4 bedrooms in total. Koenji had lots of unique restaurants, izakayas and place of interest you’d spend more than a day just exploring the area. The house is located about 10 mins walk from the station but the journey is full of combinis and other shops you won’t feel the distance. Will definitely book this home again for future trips to Tokyo.

Loved staying at this Airbnb. It was quite refreshing to return to it at the end of the day after being in really busting areas like Shibuya and Harajuku. Only a 3 min walk to the metro so easy to get around. There’s a lot of great restaurants walking distance from the Airbnb and I felt right at home. Very clean and easy to get in and out of the building. 7/11 is right across the street and they have an ATM which was also convenient. The apartment is also quite spacious considering apartments and hotels can be quite tiny in Japan and I felt I had room to roam in this Airbnb, which was nice also. Thank you!

It was great staying at Tadashi’s place. Was very responsive to my queries and helpful. Recommend others to stay there if you are looking for a place away from hustle and bustle of Tokyo central. Walking distance to 2 train stations and plenty of amenities nearby. Also luggage forwarding services are available at the nearby Lawson mart.

The experience was very good, the room was very tidy and clean, and the towels and toothbrushes were fully stocked, the host was very responsive when there was a problem, and the host was willing to propose a solution.The hosts are warm and kind.All in all, we really recommend this homestay.

This was a lovely place to stay, with multiple stations in walking distance and a nice quiet neighbourhood. But most of all our host was responsive, attentive and kind and helped us numerous times with our various needs as a large group. Thank you!

Just a word to the wise, I was not used to the Japanese washer and dryer machine and expected my clothes to be fully dried at the end of the cycle and now I have to go to a laundry mat because I think it is expected to air dry clothes. So if you are only staying for one night and don’t have time to air dry your clothing I wouldn’t wash it! Place was really nice otherwise!

Great place to stay in Tokyo

We were a party of 3 looking for an apartment with 2 separate bathrooms (toilets) which is hard to find when you only need 2 bedrooms. We needed privacy but still have a place to be together. This fit the bill exactly. The apartment is a detached house with 3 floors, in a quiet area a few minutes walk from Ikeburu station . The top and bottom floors have bedrooms and toilets while the middle floor has the kitchen, living/ dining area, shower and laundry. The stairs are steep, so that might be a problem for some people. The kitchen has all the basics, but we only needed it for our morning coffee, as there are lots of places to buy food and eat in the area. Unfortunately, there were only 2 coffee cups when we were there, which I understand has been remedied. The couches in the living/dining area were basic but not super comfy. All in all, it made a good base from which to see Tokyo. I would recommend this apartment to people who want both privacy and a communal area.

Great location and funky flat. Close to tube station and on a buzzy street that’s not noisy when you’ve closed the door. Cosy and homely you can cook some bits and bobs if you need or pop out and get something local Billy even offered to come over and show me how to work the washing machine!

Great home in a lovely, friendly neighborhood. The beds were a little uncomfortable but putting an extra comforter on top of the mattress helped. It has great amenities.
