Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Shinano, Kamiminochi District

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable and quite a large house. It was also nice that there was a yard that we could hang out in. We also love that it was only a 10 minute walk to the entrance of the snow monkey park, which made it really easy to go see them. Lots of great little restaurants within walking distance as well. Great communication from Daniel And. We will definitely recommend this day to someone trying to enjoy a smaller area outside of Nagano and next to nature.

I rented this for myself as a getaway in the mountains with my guitar and I was not disappointed. From start to finish this was the best Airbnb stay I've ever had. I made the mistake of going late to the town and missed all of the buses and taxis services. The host graciously at the late hour called one for me and got me out of that situation. They went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing stay. I will be staying here every single time I'm in the area.

The spacious and serene one-story house, Surrounded by a lush green garden, you can feel the beauty of nature. The garden to the south and north comfortably envelops the living and dining area, A refreshing breeze blows through. Even though you're indoors, it's like you're on the terrace, I was at ease with the mysterious comfort. The interior is full of natural materials. Each piece of furniture and accessories has been carefully selected. All of them are carefully maintained, I could feel that you were able to connect with your family's feelings. The chirping of wild birds echoes and a refreshing breeze blows through. The trees and leaves rubbed against each other, and it felt like an orchestra was playing. The owner, Close to my family's hobbies and interests, The host told me about many shops and facilities. They're all just lovely places, I would like to enjoy it to the fullest when I visit again. It was helpful to be in contact with them from the facility information in advance. I'm not a very quick responder myself, but he answered my questions politely. It seems to be close to the ski resort (I don't do winter sports), but there was actually a snow slide at a nearby hotel during Golden Week. The cascading hot springs were also elegant, and they said that in winter you can use them by adding hot water, but during Golden Week the temperature drops below 10 degrees in the evening, so I added hot water and enjoyed it. Basically, we had a barbecue outside every day for dinner, and the barbecue was fun in the open air.The nearest supermarket doesn't have a great selection, so I recommend going after stocking up in advance or getting groceries while sightseeing. It also takes about an hour to get to Niigata (Yuzawa ~ Minami-Uonuma), so it's also a good point that you can enjoy sightseeing in both Gunma and Niigata. One point, the door that was used frequently was difficult to close, so when my child closed it, it didn't close properly, and the cold air sometimes came into the living room, so I think you need to be careful about that.

Our stay here was absolutely lovely. The villa is even more lovely than in the pictures, was super clean and had great amenities. The host was so friendly and helpful and very responsive over message. We really enjoyed how beautiful and peaceful the area is, and there are lots of lovely local cafes and restaurants a short drive away, as well as lots of hiking opportunities. We would love to stay here again if we are ever back in Japan. Thanks so much!

Everything was very comfortable, the sleeping comfort, amenities, etc. were all good. It was fully equipped with bedding, appliances, children's toys, etc., and I thought it was perfect for consecutive nights, even though I only stayed one night this time. The owner was also very kind and I appreciated the information. I want to stay again when I travel to Nagano. Thank you very much.

Greg was such a helpful host, the location of the property was great and having a car was such a game changer for exploring the area. For 4 of us the room was fine and had everything we need. Will definitely be back!

Justin place was well equipped with all of the needs that would helps you have a great stay. From cooking utensils to oil, salt and pepper to netflix. Having towels and soap is something i would always expect at most accommodation but cooking your own meal made my stay nice and a break from restaurant food. I would highly recommend staying.

It was a very beautiful hostel. The view from the window was also good and the atmosphere was calm. However, the owner was not available when I checked in, and even if I asked the employee, I waited for a moment. It is a bit disappointing that we had to wait about 30 minutes for check-in.

Highly recommend this place. It's a great location, lovely setting in the woods, we were there in winter and with the snow its incredibly beautiful and also walkable to the gondala or chair lift. This Airbnb is a seperate apartment attached to the Mojo lodge, so you get all that's listed, 2 bedrooms + living room/kitchen/bathroom etc etc but also in Winter season you can use the communal area of the lodge as well which is great, plus you get an excellent cooked breakfast and a morning lift to the gondala. Plus all the staff at the lodge are super friendly and very approachable for advise on the area whether that's where to eat or the best onsen or other local knowledge. We really felt welcomed and at home for the whole week we were here and we'd definitely stay again.

The log house in the woods is a very peaceful and wonderful environment where you can hear birds singing. Geoff, the friendly host, greeted us at check-in and provided a lot of information. We would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

We enjoyed the refreshing, peaceful and quiet wooded cottage. The cottage was full of amenities and details, and it was wonderful and comfortable. Some of the elderly groups were a little nervous, but the whole group was very satisfied and had a pleasant time. This cottage is friendly and comfortable for the elderly, and I would definitely recommend it.

The comfort of the log house and the beauty of the surroundings were great, and the staff were very polite.The adjacent BBQ space was also easy to use and I was very satisfied.I'd like to come back to Chichibu just for this log house.

We really enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable lodge in the beautfiul mountain scenery. The owner himself is also very friendly and helpful. When a member of our group lost something in Kijimadaira village, he drove us to the town to pick it up and back to the lodge again. We warmly recommend this airbnb to any tourists visiting Kijimadaira.
