Kihachikan South Nozawa Onsen

Kihachikan South is a luxurious and homely family chalet. It has three bedrooms; one double, one twin and one smaller single room. The light filled, open plan kitchen and living room features a locally made oak kitchen that includes a Miele oven and induction hob and Miele dishwasher. The kitchen is fully supplied with all the main amenities including; a rice cooker, toaster, microwave, coffee machine and full cooking utensils should they be required. The comfy sofa seating area focusses around a cast iron pellet stove and the latest Bang & Olufsen television and sound system including live feed from the ski hills and Netflix. The daily readings from the traditional barograph will keep you ahead of the weather apps …….. possibly! The bedrooms maintain a traditional feel with shoji windows, wooden beams and authentic wall coverings with the addition of discreet blinds, wooden flooring and western style beds. The bedroom wardrobes in Japanese oak were made to order in Nagano. The bathrooms include walk in showers with locally made hinoki shower benches. The upstairs bathroom with both slate and wooden flooring also contains a separate seating area and large bath tub. The upstairs bathroom enjoys great views over to Togari and Mount Myoko. Dyson hair dryers are supplied in the two main bedrooms. The artwork throughout the Kihachikan South is a mixture of original Japanese woodblock prints and an extensive collection of original 16th & 17th century antique maps of Asia. Kihachikan South has a Miele washing machine and separate Miele clothes dryer.The ski, board and boot room is downstairs and shared with Kihachikan North and contains snow shoes for guest use (when available).

[Opened in December 2023!] ease1 is an accommodation limited to one group per day. Enjoy a special time in a luxurious space surrounded by the beautiful nature of Nagano. You can also enjoy a barbecue on the wooden deck while looking out at the beautiful scenery of Nagano. There is also a hot spring facility nearby, so please use it as well. The inn can accommodate up to 6 people, but there are 4 beds. Please use the futon for the 5th person. We also welcome corporate training and workations. Located in a quiet place surrounded by nature, you can spend time in an environment that combines work and relaxation while increasing your concentration! Equipped with a projector: We provide the necessary equipment for presentations and training. * Private saunas are a paid option, so please order from the check-in link or contact us separately. ・ Private wood-burning sauna 5,000 yen per use We will prepare enough firewood to burn for about 5 hours. Please do the ignition yourself. Also, depending on the season, it takes about 1 to 2 hours to warm up properly.

Five Peaks Ryuoo

Relax and enjoy the slow life in Nagano's mountainous countryside. In winter, go skiing - there are 15+ ski resorts within an hour, including Shiga Kogen, Nozawa, Madarao and Myoko. You can also snowshoe from the property. In summer, visit Ryuo SORA Terrace by riding one of the largest gondolas in the world. There is great hiking in Shiga Kogen and the Hokushin Gokaku mountain range. It is also short drive to multiple hot spring onsens, restaurants, soba making, and other activities.

Nozawa House is an amazing self contained 3 bedroom house where you can ski back to the door and still only a 300m walk to the centre of the village. Amazing views from the living areas and bedrooms. Warm wooden feel and can see the chair lift running above the river behind the house. Great for families or groups of friends. Japan in general is an easy and safe place to travel around and getting to Nozawa is very easy with public transport. Just 3 hours from Tokyo.
