Really great, clean little studio apartment - slightly nearer the restaurants and shops than the slopes, but in no way far from anything in the town. The team, Josh and Kat, looking after the place were really helpful with bits of local knowledge and friendly advice. The skiing/snow was great too. We would definitely come back.

Gabriel's place was perfect for what my partner and I were after -- a cozy home-away-from-home to get some work done in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. I was impressed by the attention to detail for small things like kitchenware, bathing needs, and local suggestions. Thanks Gabriel, we really enjoyed our stay and will certainly return to Nozawaonsen one day!

Ski-in, ski-out 2-bedroom apartment in Nozawa

JordanRating, 5 stars14 months ago
A well-equipped, comfy (if a little tight) serviced apartment. Keep in mind, it’s at the top of the town, which means a relatively long walk up-hill to get to the apartment (and then up steep, narrow steps). But if you can cope with that (incl every time you want to go in for groceries/food/etc.), it’s an awesome place to stay! We stayed mid-April and had free access to the serviced apartments’ onsen (available down the hill). We were also right next to a ski hire shop and the gondola up to the slopes for daily skiing/snowboarding. Reception was always available via message, and were really friendly and helped us out whenever we needed. The town is a little dead in the off-peak season, but it’s still a quaint, lovely place to be/stay and spend some time in the mountains.

Nozawa Onsen Basecamp #103 Two Bedroom Apartment

MartinRating, 5 stars42 months ago
LOVED THE STAY!! They allow dogs which is great and the rooms are very spacious. I love sleeping on Japanese Futons (Though people who like soft beds might not) It is in a good location for both skiing and night life. Nozawa Village is hard to get around with steep hills and narrow snowy streets but once you are checked into the stay you are set! They have a dry room but it is very small which is quite normal for Nozawa. The service was top notch and they bent over backwards to accomodate our every need. VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED!!!

2 Bedroom with spectacular views

RyanRating, 5 stars52 months ago
Gabriel is a great host. Very responsive and accommodating. Gave some great tips for the area. The place is a nice location a short walk from town and close to the slopes. You can take the lift and ski to the main gondola in 5 mins. Rental places are right by the lift also. You can ski back there directly also. The place is really nice and clean. It does have nice views. All in all, a great weekend.

Basecamp Apartments #101 Deluxe 2 Bed/2Bath 6-8PAX

DanRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We loved our stay at Jason’s apartment! It’s compact, but plenty of space for our family of four with two teenage kids, and a well equipped kitchen if you want to stay home and cook. It’s halfway between the ski lifts and high street - an easy five minute walk in both directions. Jason was a very accommodating host with lots of fantastic recommendations and local tips. We would definitely stay here again.
