Very pretty, quiet and comfy place to stay in. The hosts are extremely friendly and responsive. There's also washing machine which is a plus point for our stay. We would definitely come back here again if we were to travel to kyoto!

This was a beautiful, peaceful home and super close to a subway station. I will recommend this to any friends who might go to Kyoto.

Stayed here with our family of 5. Lots of sleeping options. Two great showers. Laundry. Cute shops, craft bars, restaurants, and beautifully built shrines. Lots of outdoor beauty too.

Great traditional Japanese house in a quiet neighborhood in Kyoto. Amazing location, only 7 minutes from the train station and only 1 stop away from Kyoto. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a nice home in a quiet part of Kyoto!

Transportation is not very convenient, there is no subway nearby, it takes more than ten minutes to walk, but there is a bus stop at the door.The room is relatively large, the two floors add up to about 80 square meters.The bathroom is large and the bathtub is clean.Refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, electric stove, air conditioner can be used.There are a lot of comics to read.Overall, it's still very good.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful 3-story Japanese-style house. It’s incredibly clean, well-maintained, and full of Kyoto charm. The layout is spacious yet cozy—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is excellent: just a 5-minute walk to Gojo Station on the Keihan Line, and there’s a 7-Eleven right outside the door, which made everything super convenient—from grabbing a quick snack to withdrawing cash. Shan is a superhost in every sense. She gave us a warm welcome with plenty of water, drinks, snacks, and even instant noodles! Her responses were always quick and helpful—we felt really well cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto. Great home, great location, and a truly wonderful host. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was great for our family of 4 trip (with two kids ages 8 and 11). The location can’t be beat, the Yasaka shrine is right around the corner and tons of amazing restaurants in walking distance. There is a grocery store just a couple of blocks away, so we got some breakfast food, snacks and drinks there. The rooms are very quiet and beds are very comfortable (heated floors were an extra bonus). The bathrooms are very nice as well. This was a very zen place with a traditional feel and modern amenities. Great find!

Perfect spot for 10 people. Great location and loved the authenticity of the sliding paper doors, beds on mats, etc. Very comfortable and loved the location and host.

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at this traditional Japanese home, with stylish and modern conveniences. Clear and helpful instructions were provided for using amenities like the laundry and heated outdoor tub. The property is fairly centrally located within the downtown area, and though not a short walk it is walkable to Sanjo and Marutamachi train stations, Nishiki Market, and Ponto-Cho. There are also two Seven Elevens within a short walk which was convenient. We did also use several taxis to and from various temples, shrines and other sites. Overall, it was a great stay, and would do it again and recommend to others.

Although the walk back never got quicker the apartment had enough space for our 11 people to relax after a long day. Be prepared for some people in a big group to sleep on tatami mats. But otherwise a lovely stay! Will be highly considered on our return trip.

Amazing house with a luxurious feel. Very private and quiet, but very close to all the spots you want to visit - just a short subway ride away!!

The place is as described in a quiet neighborhood, good for walking around to appreciate the beautiful flowers in front of some houses. There are grocery stores within ~20 mins walk downhill to a main street of the area. It was very helpful to have a pick up and drop off to the subway station services by the owner.

I love the feeling of being in a residential area ~ Children love running up and down the stairs ~ Clean and hygienic!It's close to Kyoto station and convenient!Cross the main road and you will reach Yongwang~ The Host responds promptly whenever there is a problem!I'd like to stay again next time I come to Kyoto ~

The location of the B&B is very eye-catching, there are convenience stores and fresh food supermarkets nearby, the Host is very nice!!All processes will be given detailed text answers and food recommendations!They also sent snacks!The tableware is complete and the room is clean and tidy.The surrounding environment of the house is also very quiet and peaceful, highly recommended!

Definitely one of the best places for a large group to stay in a local area in Kyoto. For the surprising space and number of rooms in the house, it still feels very cozy. Lots of AC so you won’t melt in the city’s summer heat and humidity, and very well equipped with amenities. As for the location, it’s calm local with good restaurants and cute shops. Then, the bus stop about a block away around the corner will get you to the city’s main areas very easily. Some things to note are that we found the laundry machine a little bit finicky to operate, and takes a substantial amount of time to run fuller loads, so don’t try to do laundry for 6 people at once. I’m sure the host knows the secrets of how to operate it if you ask though. Also, know that noise carries decently well inside, so you can’t have a party downstairs while people sleep upstairs. Overall one of if not the best places to stay in Kyoto for a local experience, highly recommend and would 100% stay again.

Great place, plenty of room for sleeping and bathrooms. Great location, easy to get on the LUUP bikes and ride around.
