Cymrund Apartment

AnneRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We enjoyed staying at Stuart's self contained flat which was well situated and enabled us to visit many places in Shetland. We were welcomed by our host who where very flexible with our check-in time which we appreciated greatly. A lovely apartment which was well equipped. We did not need any help during our stay but I am sure support would have been available should we have needed it.

Lerwick Lets - 4 Browns Road

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great stay in incredibly comfortable and well appointed apartment in Lerwick. Check in was seamless, everything was really clean and tidy, and the beds super comfy. The hosts were really helpful and responsive and also provided us with a very useful visitor's book! 100% recommend.
A stone wall partially encloses the area, revealing a cottage with earthy-toned walls. The scene is framed by a mature tree with lush green leaves, contrasting against the clear blue sky, creating a serene outdoor setting.

Cosy cottage in Kveldrso Gardens

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The apartment is very central to Lerwick town centre, literally 2-3 minutes to the town centre. The apartment is a little hard to find when you first arrive as there are a lot of small alleys to navigate but once you find it then all is good. The inside of the apartment was very fine, the TV and the BT box need a little getting use to but once you have done it, its fine from there. The water pressure in the shower is a little low compared to Sweden but this is normal for the UK in general. Apart from these minor things the apartment is well equipped and comfortable. Would I go back, absolutely, I loved apartment and the Shetland islands. John

Beautiful spot right next to the bay. Ideal for self-sufficient trip - right next to the bus stop for the 21 from Lerwick, a great shop and St Magnus Hotel. Lots of lovely walking and swimming round the Ness - I would recommend.

No. 9 - comfortable, stylish & perfectly located

JudyRating, 5 starstoday
We had a great stay at number 9. The little house was cosy, clean and very well equipped with everything we needed for our short stay. The house is really central with shops and restaurants a few minutes' walk away. It was easy to park and only took a couple of minutes to walk to the house through pretty gardens. A great base for our explorations of the mainland!

Lovely clean, fresh, modern and comfortable apartment. Parking is great either on the premises or right outside on the quiet road. Had a super stay. Easy to walk into centre of Lerwick. We dined at Fjara and no 88 and both served delicious food, with Fjara being the best! Also recommend The original Noss boat trip Seabirds and Seals. Absolutely superb! Would recommend Craigielea for your Lerwick stay!

Rosehearty Self-catering, Entire House, Shetland.

AlisonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What an amazing place to stay in a wonderful location. Trixie was an excellent host and was really responsive to any questions. The house was amazing, beautifully furnished and felt really homely. The kitchen was better stocked with equipment than my own home. Would definitely recommend. The location is ideal to visit the rest of Shetland and was an ideal base. Scalloway is full of history and a visit to the museum is a must, along with going along the front to see the Shetland Bus Memorial. If you want to go to Mousa think about doing this at the start of the holiday as the boat was cancelled every day apart from 2 whilst we were there for the week. Jarlshof on the South of the island, by Sumburgh Lighthouse, is a fascinating visit. Shetland and Rosehearty are definitely on our list for a return visit.

Your own space in an historic stone built home.

JeanRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I admit I hadn’t looked at all the information before booking. At the time of booking last year I was just so delighted to find a pet friendly place at a very reasonable price for a solo traveller. I am absolutely delighted that I found Greenvale. Dave and Debbie are fabulous hosts. They gave such valuable information about places to explore and I felt I had my own personal weather forecasters. It’s so important to listen to, and appreciate people with local knowledge. I was grateful to have a comfortable place to relax, especially when waiting for the weather to change. I loved the mystery of breakfasts. They were a real bonus. Debbie is a great chef. I’d happily give 10 stars for breakfasts. My Border Terrier, Ella, was also made to feel very welcome. She and Broonie got on well. Greenvale is unique and I am so pleased I embraced everything about it. I have benefitted in mind and body from staying there. Thank you Dave and Debbie for making my stay so memorable.

Coastal retreat with beach and woodland garden

DavidRating, 5 stars47 months ago
A very spacious, discrete, comfortable and well equipped home, optimally placed to explore the full extent of the islands. The nearby CoOp and garage in Brae have all the supplies you need. Fresh mussels and scallops available daily from the shellfish farm across the bay. Amazing wildlife, including otters on the lawn. Nikita is a super host, very supportive with good ideas, such as where to spot Orcas. The nearby Brae hotel does good dinners. Thoroughly recommend staying as long as you can to enjoy a special place, people and wildlife in the British Isles. Thanks Nikita!
