Self Contained Rustic Farmhouse Accomodation

BryonyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The moment we passed the gate into this wonderful property it was like being transported into another world. The house is impressive from the outside, and even more so inside! Tastefully decorated and spacious, we felt thoroughly at home here, and didn't want to leave! We got to meet our hosts, who were keen to ensure we had everything we needed, and were fantastically responsive to our questions. Great recommendations and we were even given a brilliant tour of the farm and the furry inhabitants! There are trails nearby, supermarkets, and Tetbury is a beautiful village to wander through! Genuinely can't have asked for a better stay. I highly recommend!!

The Granary

C & MRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It was a treat for us to spend a weekend at The Granary (with Moo tagging along); the prettiest & most comfortable bolthole set in gorgeous grounds in an idyllic Cotswold village. Stepping through the door, its serene ambience set the tone for our visit. Nicola is a wonderful host; the kind you feel lucky to get. Before - and during - our stay she was flexible, responsive & kind. Her generosity in providing so many thoughtful luxuries indoors, sharing her insider-knowledge on the local area & inviting us to enjoy her garden (whilst she was away herself) made our trip extra special. We loved the picturesque walks to the nearby village (& its pub). And Westonbirt Arboretum, Highgrove & The Potting Shed at Crudwell - a short drive away - were all highlights for us. We would definitely recommend Nicola as a host and a stay at The Granary in a heartbeat. Our only disappointment was that the bank holiday wasn't longer!

Down at the Bottom of the Garden

SamRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a lovely weekend at Emma’s annex. It was immaculate inside and out and what a beautiful little village! It had everything we needed, it was warm and comfortable and a lovely pub just down the road that serve food all day. Its location is lovely, all the locals are very friendly and welcoming. The only downfall for us was the sofa in the living area, small and dipped in the middle so we found it difficult to sit comfortably but this is the only little thing that I could possibly criticise. It was a bit difficult to find but we arrived in the dark and sat nav was telling us it was on the opposite side of the road so just one of those things. Overall we had a lovely, peaceful weekend away. Just what we wanted. Thank you Emma

Charming guest house in stunning wooded valley

RossRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely location and special lovely apartment. The road down was a little narrow but Ronnie explained how to get to the accommodation very well. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. Clean bathroom with nice towels. Living room was lovely. The TV had some DVD to watch and was a nice place to relax. Pull out sofa was a little uncomfortable to sit on but was ok for the amount of time we were there. Very nice location, and accommodation would definitely recommend staying. And we would stay again

*Walnut Tree Lodge

BellaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a perfect place! We stayed here for 8 nights (a couple and our two small dogs), whilst my partner was at a woodworking course at Westonbirt arboretum. The place was exactly as described; super comfortable place, immaculately presented, squeaky clean and a fantastic shower too. We loved the courtyard garden, and it was great to enjoy the local walks surrounding the village. The village pub was great too! So often air bnb accommodation can feel like they advertise luxury and what you get is really basic, but here was a real cut above the rest whilst still feeling intimate and cosy. A super comfortable stay in a lovely setting and Kate was so welcoming and friendly. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly!
