Tiny Homes of Thomas 136 Spruce Street

JamieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My boyfriend and I absolutely love Thomas and Davis WV, we love it more now that we found a beautiful tiny home to stay in during our visits. Her tiny home was everything we hoped it would be. It rained during our stay, but that did not affect our stay. We turned the fireplace on and listened to the rain while he read and I crocheted. We will definitely book another stay at this beautiful tiny home at our "home away from home."

Yellow Creek Retreat

AnneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed for two nights over Memorial Day weekend. It’s a great location to explore Blackwater Falls State Park and the Dolly Sods. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. The sunsets from the couch were amazing. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of supplies on hand to make for a nice stay. If you are looking at going to breweries, I recommend Stumptown Ales. It had the best beer over all the others we tried.

The Original Hob

CarolinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay at the Hob with my husband and our dog. The property was beautiful, and we especially enjoyed the peaceful creek and fireplace. The Hob was clean and comfortable, and both the shared kitchen and bathroom were spotless. Josie and Arlo, the resident dogs, were incredibly friendly made us feel right at home, and were very sweet with our small dog. We're already looking forward to staying again in the future. Thank you, Bill and Sue, for sharing this special place with us!

Luxury TinyHouse on Homestead and Wildlife Habitat

RosaliaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My partner and I loved our stay at Tiny Home! We stayed for a quick weekend getaway to do some local hiking such as the Cascade Falls, and we also checked out Carvins Cove, both are an absolute must! The views on the property were absolutely stunning, and there was a cute kitty that came to say hello :) The trails on the property are beautiful and a nice touch! Stacey’s father went above and beyond and immediately went out and fixed some bridges that fell down due to the recent rain storm when we told them we were going to hike the property! 10/10 would stay here again!

We enjoyed our visit to WV. Su’s cabin was the perfect location and allowed us to witness some beautiful sunsets, nightly. The cabin was all Su’s described, quite comfortable for 2 people. Su provided recommendations for restaurants and activities. We went to two of the restaurants, both were delicious. If we’re back in the area, we’d stay at Su’s again.

Oh my, if you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded stay, you’re in for a treat! The noise of the world was quieted in this pristine location, surrounded by rolling hills, pastures, a big open sky, and farm animals. Don’t expect to find much to do in the area, this is simply a retreat, away from the busyness of life. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here, particularly the quiet mornings on the porch overlooking the beauty and the evenings in the hot tub watching stars and being surrounded by almost complete darkness. We had a lovely chat with Kevin the first morning that we were there - he is very authentic, kind, thoughtful, and comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate returning to this gem!

Easygoing

SydneyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This cabin is exactly what my fiance and I needed. It was extremely cozy and we felt right at home. Raymond ‘s listing is exactly what we expected and exactly what we got. The outdoor shower is DIVINE, and with nobody around we felt at peace. Besides Raymond’s house (which is right up the hill) there is nothing around except for trees. There’s two of the cutest little hammocks with the prettiest view and a huge outdoor fire pit. We brought our two dogs with us and I think they were more relaxed than us. It is super dog friendly and they even had some dog toys there for them to play with. There is a previous review that says cell service is spotty, but we had no problem with text messages sending or outgoing phone calls. The host is extremely friendly and does make sure that you have everything you need. If you’re looking for a getaway where you can unplug and unwind, this is your perfect place. Ps, the outdoor shower water gets really hot!! 🤤

Peaceful Secluded Old Rag Retreat

KarleyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Perfect little getaway!! Close to old rag and white oak canyon trails about 15/20 mins from Madison and Sperryville although not a lot to do in the town still a nice little place to grab dinner or coffee Everything at the yurt was awesome, we enjoyed playing monopoly and a small fire at night. For not having AC we were perfectly comfortable and even had to start a fire because it got so cold one morning Only downside was the drive way which I misunderstood how steep it was my brothers car stalled and thankfully we were able to make it up the sofa bed was uncomfortable but still would come back again for how peaceful it was there
