Vacation rentals with a patio in Shelter Island

My friends and I loved staying at Amanda’s place. We were greeted by her homemade baked goods stand which was delicious. The apartment was charming, sparkly clean, felt very safe and was within walking distance of Greenport town area. Amanda was also very responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the North Fork area!

Nancy's place looked just as great as it does in the pictures. Very up to date, stylish, with all the comforts one needs. And looking out the large windows at the green backyard and fire-pit was spectacular, like it was from a home magazine. (Could not actually use the fire pit as it was rainy and cold to start, and then just chilly but I was too busy too). Nancy was extremely responsive to my questions and requests and even anticipated some I might have had. When I had trouble figuring out the locks when I first arrived she must have heard me struggling and was at my side after a few respectful minutes, much appreciated in the cold rain that day. Felt very comfortable and relaxed in the unit. The outside is very green with grass and forest and flowers; just walking around the neighborhood was therapeutic for me! Nancy also gave great guidance on local restaurants and shopping and it was excellent, just like being local. Thank you very much Nancy, a most relaxing and pleasant stay.

Lisa's apartment is exactly as depicted in the AirBnb listing. It is spacious, clean, comfortable, close to the village of Sag Harbor and down the block from a beautiful private beach. Given the cost of hotels in this area this apartment is an excellent value. While we did not speak or meet during our stay Lisa provided clear directions with regard to finding the home, parking and how to enter and left us her cell phone number in case we needed anything.

We stayed for our honeymoon - long weekend and first time Hamptons visitors. Very clean, organized and cozy space with nice decorations. All amenities listed were available. We really enjoyed the hot tub and firepit, very peaceful and private area. You should have a car to get around to restaurants, shops, and other outdoor activities. Lots of areas were walking, bike, and scooter friendly. There were so many beautiful views of the water!! Would stay here again, great value.

this was my 4th time staying at this air b and b and as usual I dodnt want to leave!!. Sarah and Phil where amazing. I love going to this air b and b becouse its so peaceful and calm and its like be at home. I will be back again. if you looking for an awsome place to stay look no futher!!! this is thr place to go!! this family is wonderfully and beautiful people. We had a wonderful stay! The master suite is huge and the bathroom is dreamy. We didn’t really use the backyard bc it was winter but it was great for our pup! Kitchen was small but did the job (no microwave). We had issues with streaming on the “guest” accounts but we always travel with our own firestick so we were fine. The beds were super comfortable (firm memory foam type) but it was quite bright in the upstairs bedrooms in the morning bc several of the windows had no covering so if you need a blackout situation for little ones pack accordingly. We were able to put the provided pack and play in the closet which was fine for us! We would definitely recommend and return!

Great spot in Hampton Bays! The house was as described and in a very cute and walkable neighborhood. Super close drive to the beach and a couple of local restaurants and eateries. Loved how private the spot felt too! David’s done a wonderful job with the backyard, so you get the comfort of having close neighbors without the intrusiveness. Pool was awesome. We definitely enjoyed it!

As a native long islander I enjoy finding great properties I can bring my family to to take advantage of all long island has to offer. This was the DREAMIEST beach bungalow!! The bedroom with the two beds was just my favorite room especially since we visited off season. You cannot beat this location. I can't wait to book again during high season! Thanks for sharing your home with us !!

We rented Nick’s place for a long overdue weekend of friends getting together from different bits of the world. The house is conveniently 1hr45mins from JFK and an easy drive from the city. The house was very spacious and perfect for a long weekend. Nick was very responsive and truly went above and beyond trying to get the pool working off season for us. The property is about a 10min car ride from the Southampton Main Street with loads of good restaurants. We also really enjoyed the sauna. Thank you Nick!

Just returned from an awesome stay at Travis’s cottage. Travis and Morgan are great hosts and were very helpful with providing local suggestions and prompt communication. The property is great and was the perfect home base for our first trip to the North Fork. The location is ideal: quiet, charming, and centrally located to everything (wineries, beaches, breweries, farms, and great restaurants in Mattituck and the nearby towns). As a family with two young kids (6 y/o and 18 months), the fenced yard was a huge bonus - private, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing while the kids played safely. The house itself is cozy, clean, and full of character. We’d absolutely stay again on our next visit to the area.

This was our wedding day weekend and we were shocked just how well this Airbnb was designed, built and cared for. All of the appliances were high quality, an art TV, a gorgeous shower. My wife and I couldn't have been happier calling this cute cottage home for this special weekend. Thank you Sara!

Loved our girls’ getaway on the North Fork! Mae’s house is the perfect spot with a quick walk to the beach and gorgeous views right from her backyard - even close drives to beautiful Southold, Mattituck, and Greenport. I will absolutely stay again!

Stop whatever you’re doing in the area and take 10 minutes to walk across the street to enjoy the sunset. I guarantee it’s addictive. Spent a post-Labor Day weekend with some friends and had an amazing time. The condo is centrally located between downtown Southampton, Bridgehampton and Sag Harbor and all that those areas have to offer. Several beaches, both bay-side and ocean-side, are also close by, but we mostly ended up lounging by the pool. The condo itself is spacious which is only further amplified by the amount of natural light reflecting off the bright interiors that let you know you’re near the beach. There are plenty of towels—both bath and beach—and there is ample beach equipment that you can use. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking/dining at home, and there’s an outdoor patio equipped with a grill and dining furniture. Hostess could not have been nicer or more responsive, so I will definitely want to stay here again.

A fantastic place to stay in the Hamptons, a special gem of a place located in the Dunes of Amagansett, will be back every year!

We really enjoyed staying at Lynn’s place! Very clean and had a great view of the ocean from the deck. Lynn was very responsive and made the experience seamless. We would definitely stay with Lynn again.

George was a wonderful host , so available and willing to help with local knowledge and suggestions. The Condo is beautiful with a stunning sea view and plenty of amenities. I would definitely recommend this place to all .

This place is great in old-school AirBnB style. Feels like Nadine’s second home being shared with us. Quality finishes throughout, very well stocked in terms of glasses, plates, towels, etc. We came for a wedding but were able to have our own nuclear family reunion with three young-adult children coming in from around the country. The space handled us all with ease. The great room is spacious with a big table and even bigger sectional sofa. Just a great place to gather and hang out (which we did a little more than expected because of tropical storm Ophelia). We enjoyed the coffee and sandwiches across the street and brought in sushi and wine for one dinner, less than 5 minutes drive away. One quick note: 2 BRs not 3

We had a great time at Adam’s place! The apartment was cozy, clean, and comfortable — perfect for a relaxing getaway. It’s just a quick 5-minute drive to Sag Harbor, which made it super convenient.
