An utterly gorgeous place to stay! The interior is tastefully decorated and very cosy. Outside, the private garden space is peaceful and really quite beautiful. Diane and Didier are wonderfully welcoming hosts and it was an absolute pleasure to stay with them. This is a very special place to stay and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in a stunning setting - it really is as gorgeous as the pictures show! ☺️

We had a really relaxing and comfortable stay at Annemarie’s place. The rooms were all perfectly clean and very homely. She made us feel so welcome with the thoughtful supplies provided. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to unwind in peace and quiet.

"What Knot" is absolutely unique, something you would find on George Clarke's "Amazing Spaces", and we loved it! Set in a beautiful and peaceful garden location, everything is thoughtfully packed in to a remarkable space that belies it's actual size. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, with all you need provided for - even bread/eggs/cereals for breakfast, plus a couple of G&Ts in the fridge to boot! Heather was a great host, and particularly easy to communicate with - she sent us perfect directions for how to get there, and clear instructions to check in and out. The location is also superb, being just yards away from Alfriston high street, which has well stocked shop, cafe, and pubs/restaurants with many eating options. Overall, a great stay in a great location, and we would definitely recommend if you found yourself in that part of the world!

We loved our stay at the barn , light,spacious and taste fully furnished. It is very convenient for walks on the south downs or a trip to the coast. Alternatively sit in the lounge and enjoy the view . Sue is a thoughtful and welcoming host.
