Had such an amazing and cozy stay here! 😍 The place looks exactly like the pictures, and out of all the Airbnbs I’ve stayed at, I really love how the host designed this one, super homey and full of charm. I even got inspired by the design! 😋 The host was also super friendly and quick to respond. Definitely a 10/10 stay! 👍🏻

Back at this lovely homestay once again – it truly feels like coming home. The cozy decor, spotless space, and that familiar view outside the window… everything is just right. It’s more than just a place to stay — it’s a little escape, a quiet comfort I always look forward to. Highly recommended for anyone needing a peaceful break from the rush of daily life. 🌿

The house is nicely furnished in my opinion and good for big group gatherings. Many bed rooms available with a mix of single and double beds which are quite comfortable. And apart from the living room, there are other areas that friends/family can huddle around, both indoors and outdoors. All the basic amneties are provided and work fine. The owner is extremely helpful and responsive, providing prompt response and help when needed. The only downside I feel is the narrow road and insufficient parking. It's convinient if you have 3 cars (or 4 if you park one right in front of the gate). Anything more and you need to park further... and the nearby Sunny Point complex is an option, but you need a 3-5 minute walk back to the property. Also, food choices within walking distance is limited to a few Malay food stalls. Overall, it was good value in my opinion... just be mindful if you are travelling with many cars, then it might not be the best choice.

Nice place except there’s small insects in the house. Expected since the area is village area but would appreciate if the owner provides insect repellent especially to guest travelling with little babies.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay. The house is spacious and exactly as shown in the photos. With three toddlers in tow, we truly appreciated how much room they had to roam freely indoors. The big compound was a bonus — we brought inflatable pools and the kids had a blast ! The interior is beautiful and cosy, perfect for our gathering with friends. There was plenty of space to hang out and catch up. Everything was spotless — the whole place was very clean and well maintained. Parking was hassle-free even though we came with four cars. The price was a great deal for what we got. Eric was a responsive and helpful host, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. We had zero issues throughout our stay. If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be to have a mirror in every room — especially for the ladies getting ready 😊 Other than that, everything was superb and exceeded our expectations, especially considering the price. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this homestay and it met all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the check-in process a breeze. Chloe the owner was always just a message away, ready to assist with any questions or requests we had during our stay. The house itself was beautifully appointed and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The spacious layout was perfect for our large family, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy their own space. The kitchen was stocked with modern appliances and utensils, making it easy for us to prepare meals together. The decor was charming and inviting, creating a warm atmosphere that felt like home. We loved the outdoor space as well, which was perfect for family gatherings. Overall, I highly recommend this homestay🥰

I like this homestay very much, it's very photogenic, it's not close to the main road, it's very quiet at night, but the mosque nearby will chant at 5am, this is probably a problem that all homestays in the old city have.You can walk 10 minutes in the morning to see the sunrise at the Clan Jetties, and the street murals are also within 10 minutes walking distance.There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for big families or groups of friends.The stairs to the second floor are a little steep, but my parents are 70+ and can go up and down, no problem.When we checked in, the housekeeper helped us to move our luggage upstairs, and when we left, they allowed us to check out late at 2pm.The room air conditioning is Panasonic, the air conditioning is very powerful, which is especially important in the hot and humid Penang.The room has two bathrooms and two shower rooms, one on the first floor and one on the second floor.The shower room and bathroom on the second floor are on the outdoor terrace and can only be reached through a door. It is slightly inconvenient at night. I personally tested that the neighborhood is quite safe. There is no problem going to the terrace at night.

Very good place. And very responsive host. The house was ready well before the official check-in time, and the host gave the key codes so that I could get in early if I choose to. The house have ample space for my family of 6 pax and my brother's family of 5 pax. All bedrooms and living room are airconditioned. Highly recommended.

i think ive stayed here four times now. great place and location. its tranquil in a busy area. i only wish i rained when I stayed again as it's wonderful when it does. serves me right for coming in the dry times.

We had a great experience staying at Winnie’s place. The location is fantastic right in the heart of the city with easy access to restaurants and tourist spots. It’s a perfect place for families looking for a peaceful yet central stay. The room, although compact, was clean, cozy, and felt like a small Japanese-style home — very charming and well-maintained. Winnie was a kind and helpful host; she even provided drinking water and made sure we were comfortable throughout. The only minor challenges were the stairs — since the place is on the 3rd floor and there’s no elevator, carrying heavy luggage can be a bit tiring — and there was a temporary water issue one day, but Winnie resolved it quickly and efficiently. Overall, a pleasant stay with warm hospitality. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a comfortable and conveniently located place to stay!

Perfect unit for big family. We’ve booked 2 units for our family trip and it was a great choice esp if u are travelling with elderly and kids. Great location, easy check-in / check-out process, beatiful unit with complete kitchen appliances (exc. water dispenser). Fast response from the owner’s team as we got inform them on the defect bathroom rainshower and they came to change it immediately. Just to highlight this one evening we came back quite late after midnight and there is one car with tinted window parked in front of our unit but when we want to open the gate then this car suddenly left the area like very suspicious. This area is a bit secluded and its not in security guarded area. That time only 3 units occupied and the rest is empty so we kinda worried. Its good that the units got cctv thanks to the host. But we enjoyed our stay and this unit will be in the list for our next penang trip.
