Oakwood Lodge

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Oakwood Lodge is a converted barn on a working farm. It is set on the edge of wheat fields and nestled in amongst a woodland area. I do allow dogs, they are most welcome. The outside space is secure for them to roam freely. There’s no grass, only gravel out the front and Woodchip bark out the back. The back has been left as natural as possible. There’s some nettles and brambles to be aware of, I do trim them back so they shouldn’t be an issue.

A New Forest cottage that is ideal for couples, small families, or nature-loving friends . The cottage is located on the edge of open forest and within easy walking distance of Brockenhurst village centre with its many country pubs and award winning restaurants. The cottage is fully equipped. Guests can also enjoy the garden to dine outdoors, and perhaps spot deer in the field behind. This quirky attractive vintage little cottage is perfect for getting away from it all and relaxing in idyllic surroundings. Just a few metres from the lovely pebbly Gurnard beach, this fully refurbished historical little wooden building is set back from the road and tucked away behind our wild garden. It is accessed from its own car parking space via a little path. At the rear, a small stream goes to the sea and a large oak tree provides shelter to birds and a relaxing swing seat.
