Really helpful host and lovely location!

We stayed at Simon and Belinda's place for a week and it was exactly what we needed. Fantastic location for walks and food. The Wainwright's Inn is only 0.2 miles away. Great food and local ales on your doorstep. The cottage is cosy, the kitchen is well equipped and the information provided was very thorough and useful. There are some books in the house they have prepared to show various walks and local recommendations. We did some of these walks and our 5 year old enjoyed every second! We took advantage of the leisure facilities at The Langdale. This was a great addition to the cottage! Really recommend if you want a place near to town locations, walks and local pubs/cafés/restaurants.

Beautiful location for a lovely farm stay, great views from the hot tub! Loved being able to watch the cows and sheep. Claire was lovely and was ready to help at any moment despite us arriving so late at night! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful home, very spacious and plenty of amenities. felt right at home! perfect for toddlers too. Ian was great, very helpful and easily contactable.

We all felt incredibly spoilt at tower cottage. The accommodation just had a wonderful, relaxed, comforting playful energy about it. It felt that every ornament or artifact that the cottage held had a story behind it and what a privilege for us. It was joyous. The grounds, well that was something else. Early morning Deer, the call of the chiff chaff, the fast low flight of the sparrow hawk through the woods, the soothing sound of the stream in an evening, a great crested grebe joining us for our Sunday morning dip and the joy of the marble run in the woods reminded us to freely play all weekend as a friendship group. Living next door, Ruth and mark were on hand if we needed help or advice without ever feeling like our time and space was compromised. Relaxed wholesome hosts who love where they live. Their kindness was infectious. We will definitely be back.

Kathryn’s stay was lovely! Perfect location if you’re looking at heading to Keswick and climbing Scafell pike only 40mins drive to Seathwaite route. Beautiful home and lovely Hotub! Hosts very responsive to our messages.

Teapot Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. It was very well kitted out, decorated very nicely, and had lots of nice touches to make our stay even better. Lammisa was a great host - very responsive and friendly, and was happy to help whenever needed. There's great local amenities within walking distance, and several local villages and towns within a short drive, including Ennerdale Lake. The place was very comfortable, with plenty of seating indoor and out, with several comfy beds suitable for a group of adults. The only thing to be aware of is that the bedroom with the bunk beds has very little storage space, so if you're staying for a few days and have a large bag/suitcase - you'll need to find somewhere else to put it! Overall - we were all very pleased with this stay and we'd definitely book again in future.

What an absolute gem we found in Apple House. The pictures really don't do the whole place justice! A cosy, romantic house set in beautiful, serene surroundings. It really was the perfect location for our mini moon! Was lovely to be greeted by the chickens and Russel the dog each morning <3 We were treated to some tasty welcome gifts and the place was spotless, very comfy bed and just the most charming decor. Thank you so much Emma and Craig! We will definitely be returning with more of our family!

An excellent cottage walking distance to the town centre. Close to pubs and shops. The property was in excellent condition and the welcome pack was very nice. Excellent stay.

Very welcoming hosts and an impressive place to rent. The interior is in stylish, comfortable and in great condition. The location is quieter than others in the lake district but only 15 mins from Bowness. We loved our weekend.

We really enjoyed a few days in Ian's spacious cottage, which is in a great location with easy access to Windermere and Ambleside. A well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds were much appreciated.

Absolutely fantastic place. Quiet yet close to pubs etc, several options. We went out one night but decided we just wanted to enjoy the fire etc after a cold day on Scafell Pike, which is close by. Will stay here again next time we are in the area. Just what we wanted.

Our stay was home from home fantastic location with great views. The house had plenty of room was comfortable and very relaxing. Mike and Hazel were super hosts all our needs were taken care of. We will most definitely be booking another stay soon.

Zoe was great in communicating and the property is indeed a rare find. The garden was unique and our Labrador loved it.

Rose Cottage is an absolute gem of a residence. The cottage was well thought out beautifully appointed and had everything needed to make a success of our stay. Clear instruction was available on all items we would need to use and everything worked as it should. Rose cottage is a quaint property that welcomes everyone that enters. Just loved this cottage, its in a great location, no need to go out in your car as there is plently to do nearby. The cottage is very clean and nicely done out. It is well equipped, with a nice little hamper box on arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Five stars from us.

We had an exceptional stay at Manesty ! The location in was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery that made the visit truly special. The area was calm and peaceful, providing the perfect retreat from daily life. The host's instructions were clear, making the check-in process seamless. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Lake District in a serene and relaxing

This was our second stay at The Haven and it was just as lovely as we remembered! Beautiful surroundings and extremely clean, the property had everything we needed. Highly recommend and we look forward to returning in the future!

Nadina was an absolutely amazing host, the cottage was absolutely perfect for two people and was in an amazing location a short walk from the centre. Nadina checked in multiple times to ensure we were okay and even brought a bottle of wine over to apologise for the WIFI going down, even though it wasn’t her fault at all. We needed a place handy enough for my friend to make his first ascent of Scafell Pike. Madonna 's place is well placed for that and for walking in the SW Lakes. In fact, it's in a lovely location, the Esk Valley. It's quiet, surrounded by farmland and grazing animals, handy for the coast, handy for the mountains and only a short walk from a station on the Ravenglass and Eskdale railway. It's simple, clean, comfortable accommodation. Recommend !

Second stay in this wonderful cottage, which was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing break in the lakes. Perfectly located on the edge of Cockermouth, the private off-street parking is a big plus. Highly recommended.

The barn was clean, warm and had everything we needed. Great location for day trips to Keswick, Ambleside, Ullswater etc! We had a lovely time and will definitely come back! Thank you :)
