Our stay with Oli and Gail was really nice. A great value for money. We ran into a few issues during our stay but they were resolved quickly. I applaud the communication and efforts to make our stay perfect. I recommend this airbnb. The only thing that I found less great was the WiFi. It was unstable and slow in the room (#8). I'd suggest upgrading the up- and download speeds plus seeing if the stability of the network can be enhanced

This place is perfect for duo or solo travelers who want to discover Capetown, in the middle between V&A waterfront on the one hand and several bays on the other. It’s also close to town and the ocean boulevard is a 5 min walk away. The room is tidy and has a nice balcony, and the shared kitchen and swimming pool make this place a great place to hangout and cook. I would def recommend!
A light-filled bedroom features a spacious bed with soft linens and matching pillows. Two bedside lamps provide gentle illumination. A small round table sits in the foreground, complemented by a cozy seating area visible through glass doors that open to an outdoor space.

Luxurious Queen Suite in Boutique Hotel - Bo Kaap

I had a lovely stay at the Amina Boutique Hotel. The hotel felt like my home away from home while visiting Cape Town. The hotel is easy to find, and check-in was a breeze. Even though the hotel is so close to the city centre (and in one of the most iconic parts of town), I was pleasantly surprised by the relaxing and tranquil atmosphere as I stepped into the beautiful front garden. My room was gorgeous (each one of the rooms in the hotel is unique in terms of style, decor and colour)! It was neat, clean and beautifully designed. It felt like every piece of furniture was carefully curated for the room, making my stay special and memorable. The room was equipped with soft towels, shampoo, body wash, and lotion. Other amenities included free Wifi, a TV, a hair dryer, a mini fridge, and a tea/coffee station. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful and ensured I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. In the mornings, I enjoyed a lovely breakfast (served with the most delicious, homemade banana bread I've ever tasted!). I travelled by car and could park my car for free in the street right in front of the hotel, which was perfect for carrying luggage to my room. I'd highly recommend Amina Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for beautiful, unique, and memorable stay within walking distance of Cape Town's city centre.
The exterior of a spacious property is showcased, featuring multiple levels and large glass windows. Lush greenery and palm trees surround the house, which is set on a terraced garden with stone walls. Bright blue skies complete the setting, indicating a sunny day.

We had a great stay at Gail and Oli’s. Very good communication and responsive. We had an issue with the balcony door upon check in and was resolved immediately. The accommodation is a beautiful historical building that kept surprisingly warm during the chilly winter nights.

Twin beds for a city escape Room Only

ZulfikarRating, 5 stars4 months ago
I have to say upfront that I was there during the Mining Indaba, when all property prices in and around the CBD are significantly higher and so I couldn't give 5 starts for pricing. However, I'm sure their pricing is better during other times. that said the room rate was not exorbitant. Overall it was a good experience for me. -friendly staff -Clean room and sheets -free coffee and tea and cookies. -microwave -valuables safe -fresh towels and free soap -Everything as described in the posting. -Easy check in and out. -well catered café downstairs where you can grab a nice breakfast. -central location. -felt safe. Only critique would be elevator not working at the time. I'm sure it will be fixed soon. keep up the *(neighbour)good* work. :^) Would definitely visit again on a work trip or for a city escape.
