Sunny 18th century house. century, newly renovated with a large garden on the outskirts of Arogno. Arogno is south-facing, shielded by a range of hills from the noise of highway and train traffic and yet is close to it and 10 minutes by car from the lake and train station. The house is particularly suitable for relaxing in the countryside, as a starting point for hikes or cultural and swimming holidays in Ticino. At the lake there are countless swimming spots. In Rovio, there is a waterfall with a swimming pool.

I offer my guests a cozy and modern attic apartment located in the family home, from which you can enjoy breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The large garden is also available to my guests. Great starting point for visiting "our" picturesque lake, Milan, and neighboring Switzerland with Lugano.

Cà del Bif

Cà del Bif overlooks the pier of the village of Nesso; the house dates back to the 1600s and has been our holiday residence for generations. Here we all learned to swim, practiced various water sports, went on many excursions and then met up in the evening all together on the pier to fish. In 1925, Hitchcock filmed The Pleasure Garden here. The apartment is about 50 square meters with a bedroom, bathroom and living room. Cà del Bif is reached by walking along a medieval cobblestone road (200 m from the church)

A Jewel of Lake View

The house is located in the beautiful and quiet town of Tosnacco (upper part of Moltrasio), which is one of the nicest little towns along lake Como and quite close to the center of Como. From the public free parkings it is a ca. 200m walk up to my house - might be unconvenient with huge luggage. To compensate for the climb, there is a spectacular lakeview from the balcony. Down to the church and center of Moltrasio with restaurants and little supermarket it is a ca. 10 minutes walk.

The wall on the lake

In the historical context of the 1700s, a ground floor home with lake view. Renovated and furnished with Italian design accessories. The kitchen carved into the Moltrasio rock keeps the environment cool in the summer months. Bedroom with walk-in closet and master bathroom. Living room with sofa bed and bathroom. Both are equipped with TV, wifi, and floor heating. There is a public stone terrace in front of the house. The tourist tax (€2.50 per person) is excluded from the price.
